I got mine for near $1K Nov2009. now replaceing my original meter with Trail Tech Vapor... Hope my DIY work will be nice...

how's your streetfighter project going on?

Since when I going into street fighter mode... I prefer SVS look. But planning to add is projection Fog light (liek those in R1) and LEDised my Headlight.

 

But procrastination got the best of me... also the lack of power tools. everything need to be done at work. I only have 1hrs a day to work and my bike is far away. So I can't trial and error, need to walk in and out many time.

 

Now main priority is to jus get my trailtech meter up.

 

Next up air-horn (snail type)...

 

Next LEDised my head light... with Projector Head lamp for high beam.

 

finally sell off and get a COE BMW RT/GS 11

Around 8 pm, introduce ourselves, hang around chit chat, see fellow rider's bike, have coffee/tea/food, ask and answer questions about what they do to their SVs, sing and boost about how good the SV is etc etc... then repeat.

 

We're still discussing on the location, our island's not to big to let that be an issue I hope.

3. West Coast McDonald's along West Coast Road

4. Carl's Jr along East Coast Service Road

5. Coffeeshop @ BukitMerah/Alexandra AIA (near all the bike shop area)

Any suggestions anyone? Somewhere to park the bike with a table nearby selling cheap drinks/food.

haha... I have a broken garmin GPS on my e71. so as long as the map has I can find, connected to Bluetooth, it can direct me there. Best is a place where we can eat/drink and bike can park beside. like Ah Boy CoffeeShop.

Okok, Frangipani don't allow us to park the bike next to us anymore... looks like it got a little pricey too...

 

Anyway, I've checked out a coffeeshop at Blk 127 Bukit Merah Lane 1, hard to miss if you're heading towards all the bike shops(HKL, Southern, Albert Motors etc etc) area.

Might be late. abit far for me. also Southern bring bad memories. Go Ah Boy side... can check out accessorries... parking space plentiful. Show off or make SV present felt to other bikers. the Power of SVS

any parts of sv400 compatible to sv650? seems sv650 parts not that scarce..

Get both SV400S and SV650S part fiche..

Find exactly the parts I need, compare the part number..

 

Oh, do note that the SV400S manual is not 100% complete as 1 or 2 pages is missing from the russian website..

apparently, he is waiting for his counterparts at the car workshop to fabricate some missing parts for my sv so as to save some $$ from importing from japan which could cost a bomb...

 

come monday im gonna print the manual..then go down see my mech..

 

btw any chance that i can use major sv650 parts on my sv400 at the same tme not affecting the engine number?
