Ok, I think I better announce the answer to the I.Q question... too long no one will even remember it..

 

the form of question is actually called the Monty Hall problem aka monty hall paradox.

so apparently only Pplater got it correct.

He even had the correct explanation initially, but sadly since the actual solution is indeed counterintuitive, his perception of the first selection as redundant is salah liao.

 

no worries, Pplater: when I hear the problem for the first time, I came to the same salah conclusion as you til I considered it mathematically.

And since the condition of "snow is black" is already proven false, then it is necessarily true cos no matter whether "it will rain tomorrow" is true or false, the statement cannot be proven false.
