Personally I think the Rocker looks like *beep*. But that's my personal opinion :p I think the sportster is one of the nicest looking harleys though if you're not careful, you'll mod it till it looks pretty ugly.

oh that the reason for doing that the other night huh..till mine make noise i dont have to spray ya?

You dun need to spray. I didn't spray mine too. Daniel from the Dealership told me not to spray 'cos the spray could attract more dirt.

I went to my North Thailand trip without spraying. So far so good.

I saw 2 Rocker Cs at HD showroom last sat.. i personally feel that the front tyre needs to be bigger to match the rear 240 one.. it looks pretty fragile from the front.

Hey Roger_X11, would love to agree with you bro but i do believe that HD did paid a huge amount of $$$$ to employ their bike designers, who would have already done outrageous number of tests to the Rocker Cs...But again, if you'd have bought the bike and decide that the front wheels need to be changed, well, that's a major different matter and topic of discussion...

Also, it would be best that you can go into HD websites and check out the test-rides done for the Rocker Cs and get first hand reports from experts who were invited to have the test-rides...

What i'm getting at is that to each his own and everyone has their own opinions but also we do have to give due respect to the engineers, technicians, builders, assemblies, designers, packers, so forth, who are working at HD USA, to put together this beauty of a machine...Cheers bro, and i'm not Pro-HD but it's just that i do give HD my fullest respect...

Its probably because of the handling of the bike. Imagine a bike with both fatty front & rear tyres... its gonna be mighty hard to coax it into corners...

fat tyres and all are showcase bikes, not meant to be ridden long, hard corners and all....i just wonder, how those 300 size tyre actually goes for inspection? they cant even enter the inspection lane?o_O

Custom bike builders have almost always adhered to the same theme of keeping the front tyre slim and the rear 200 or more. single seater and everything else that goes along with a chopper-like look.

The 'Rocker' was HD's hand in giving that look and hope to give the enthusiasts the assurance that it was HD built (thereby creating another niche and probably cut-off the middle men - the customizers.)

right bro.. sorry, it is a personal opinion and i think u misunderstood me.. i'm no HD expert also and i'm not criticising this bike.. i also fully understand that calculations are stringent to balance out the CG and balance of a stock HD.. it is just a first impression i have seeing the actual bike.. sorry if i caused any misunderstand here..

also, i was 1st very interested in the Rocker C.. read up reviews from HD webpage, forums, etc.. nice bike with minimum customising to be done.. my dad himself was drawn to it and we would have bought it if it wasnt for the saddle bag issue.. cannot mount saddle cos the frame did not extend to the rear.. does anyone here knows if there is a customised part that can be installed without affecting the outlook of the bike itself? cheers..

Hey bro, i also apologise if i was a bit strong in my opinions, cheers and peace bro, but deep down inside me, i do have the same opinion when i first saw it too...Anyway, try to read up the articles about how the Rocker C was tested side by side with the Yamaha Star Raider...Kinda interesting coz both almost have the same design and outlook...Check it out bro...

With regards to your questions about the accessorising of the Rocker C, personally, i would prefer to be just the way it is but again, it's just my own personal opinion, your queries is open for other to discuss bro...Hope that we can meet up one of these days and have a really good discussion over some drinks bro...Cheers again...
