Just mounted 16" burly's narrow apes. Very nice posture but did a couple of u-turns today and find it quite hard. Hopefully will get used to it soon. Lets ride soon!

Now can ride in front already ah? hahaha. Late night short ride tonight?

bros, need advise on fuel grade,

anyone have the HD recommended octane for the TC96 and any personal experience with 92/95/98 octane fuels.

i am new to harley bikes and currently using SPC-RON95, worried if it will cause damage to engine, after reading about the problem with earlier ignition of lower octane fuel....but frankly i have no ideal even if it is happening to my bike :p.

Thanks

95 RON and above should be ok for Twin Cams. Lower grades then that will cause pinging/knocking...which in the long run MIGHT cause faster engine parts wear. Pre-ignition, on the other hand will cause engine failure sooner...

Don't worry about it man...despite the erratic noises twin cams make...i would like to think it is actually quite a tough ******* to break.

Hello all. I have a 2005 05 883L, think it needs to respray liao since some place start to rust (air filter cover, fork, rear shock and engine guard) Any good suggestions? Just to respray stock black or convert chrome to black, nothing fancy... Appreciate the advice. Ride safe!

Vance n Hines fuel pak

Thundermax

Screaming eagle super/race tuner

Etc etc...

If u just wanna enrich the fuel air mixture n nothing else, a more economical alternative might b xieds and others of the same... No need to tune. Otherwise there is no way that the ECM can b tuned Or remapped without buying a tuner or some sort of fuel management system

thanks man, was considering going with 92RON :p

agree it is a big difference going from the smooth Japs inline 4 to a harley engine, esp the feel while riding the harley...best way to de-stress :)

Hi all,

Am new here and need some advice/opinions.

Am looking to get a Sportster but torn between the 48 or Nightster..

If you were me, what would you get and why? Perhaps from your replies, I can make a more informed decision.

Also which brand of exhaust pipes should I go for if I want something louder than what they give us but definitely not something that's gonna wake the neighbourhood up..

Thanks in advance..

Cheers!
