Dear fellow Harley riders,

I am looking for a set of dyna mufflers (part number 66025-07), Mine is a dyna superglide custom which was stopped by LTA for loud pipes. The LTA guy kept insisting I tampered with the silencer, wth. In case you are wondering, I didn't remove them baffles. Irony is that my bike has passed inspection every year. I bought this bike 2nd hand some years ago and thought I had a set of stock mufflers but it turned out they were 49 states mufflers. haiz...I know, it's my fault for not being careful :(

any kind soul willing to help me out here? maybe lend/rent me your pipes so I can clear the bloody inspection? pls let me know...this thing is affecting me coz its so troublesome

thanks

Any friends who wanna buy harley, best is buy from parallel import..

Much cheaper and better after market services.

Wow, all fairly newly registered models. Why the short ownership?

It's the demo bikes...

Now got to compete coz parallel also brings in harley...

No more exclusive anymore just overpriced...

Yup, I agree.

Cheaper for sure cos its a bike with a Vin number which will not be able to service at the Dealers if your ECM screws up.

Cheaper after market services have existed since cavemen roamed this earth. Which after market services charge more than a Dealer?? Common sense says it all.

Just like buying a PI BMW, if you really need to service from PML, you have to pay a penalty fee which might end up almost about the same price buying from the Dealer.

Its up to individuals who they want to place their money with. But i guess you placed your money on the dealer getting your unit didnt you? :shades:

hi uncle, mainly the reason is they gotta keep up with the new models coming in. so like killing 2 bird with one stone.

1. customers get to try the new models that are coming in

2. customers can get to purchase the demo bikes at a very good deal.

ps: there is nothing to compete IMO. to me nothing can compare with dealership because of the strong back-up support that they have.

No doubt it's good buy now for the sale price but never buy their service package or buy extended warranty..

ECM screwed up just get new ones..

Or better still get aftermarket auto tune...

Typical Singaporean buy things kiasu with warranty...

Products are made and produce for use for a certain period...

After that sure got wear and tear..

Plus dealers are not the only source of good products just that they have the distribution rights and with that everything over charge.

Bmw owners from performance used the bike probably for two years...

Whacked the bike and then after warranty expires sells off...

Then comes in the posers with panniers and stickers all around...

Seen many of them around...

Furthers they go probably JB to pump petrol...

Hahahahaha.....

To all who are interested I guess its up to individuals...

Coz many here are just posers not real riders...

And of coz not forgetting key board warriors...

Aiyo aiyo.. Really killing two birds with one stone leh..

Hammer BMW riders then hammer Harley riders.. tsk tsk..

Guess paper ride too much, reading and believing but not taking enough tar..

Less the 4 wheeled Beem and more the 2 wheeled HOG might clear the haze that caused blur vision..

Looking at all claims made, Paper Warrior Lvl 10 not attained yet..

Too many mistakes to let many here laugh at fake proclaims..

Ikea and Courts don't sell Harleys nor BMWs btw..

Guess Little Grey Book of Benefits wasn't in reach then..

May White headlights shine far and wide and across nations..

Yours Faithfully,

Key Board Warrior (not keyboard warrior, two different things hor!! :cheeky:)

Hi All ! I just got my Nightrod special 2012. Any recommendations for bike shop doing thermal wrap ? Thanks in advance !

Nice bike bro. Is that the exhaust wrap?

Posted

Yes ! It is the exhaust wrap. Looking for black colour wrap so that it goes well with my bike's colour. Any idea which shop is doing ? I can order it online , just need a shop that does the installation.

Hey Wilson

What I meant was the Thermal wrap. The bandage looking thing on the header. It can contain the heat in the header and improve performance. Looking for a shop that does that. I'm more of a theory than Hands-on person.
