Hello..I am getting a harley soon. Any advice on what kind of helmet would be nice to see and nice to fit as my head is quite big! Hahaha) and where to get em? Pics would be appreciated. Thanks!

This can be subjective depending on whether you are looking at road legal helmet or not.

safety or stylo

SAFETY cannot be compromised...hence get a helmet thats got sum kinda recognised body's approval.

A full-face, flip-up is good for short n long haul rides.

Traditionally beannies are seen used by harley n chopper riders alike. Though it goes with the trend it provides no safety whatsoever. so if your question is 'in which helmet it would be nice to be seen in", it's entirely up to you.

The cards have been laid. safety or stylo

Went through 2nd link yesterday into Malaysia and no white immigration forms required for anyone including foreigners!

Kev

just to add to it, bro kevo,

if the visitors passport is of a country that requires "malaysian visa" then it would have to reflect on their passports.

:faint: ...not my cuppa tea

Seriously the HD ranges i only like the sportster look, the new nightster does look a little like my Vmax, has that old school drag look. And it black..my favorite color.

My initial plans was to get the rocker C but the more i look at the nighster, it grows on me...hope this will be the last bike in my collection..hahha

went for a ride to malacca yesterday, sunday with HOG.

41 BIKES

Left G.patah at 9am - lunch - return 5 pm.

A total of 520km.

All went well till heavy showers hit on the return.

Could hardly see jack-#*%#!

Might have bumped into us. We just came back from Frasers. Arrive GP town at around 10pm. But we got hit by rain too.

I was on a private bus from Malacca heading home on Sunday afternoon about 4pm. Got overtaken by 10+ bikes (including one v-rod at the back) but they stopped at a rest-station somewhere south of Yong Peng because of the heavy rain. :)

you could have seen a portion of the bikers who had made return trips in seperate convoys. there were 3 vrods, 2 sporsters and other assortments in total.

I not sure of the name. I just ride. Or rather struggling to keep up cos my bike is SERIOUSLY UNDER POWERED FOR HIGHWAYS! BAH!!!! Might get a TDM. (blasphemy??!!!) But it's nice on the corners. That's about it though. Garrrr. I heard from the locals there's a place near the durian area or something like that that was quite cheap. Something like 100 ringitt or so and can fit about 100 odd people. I only caught words here and there cos he was blabbering on and on and on and on and on about durian and honey and sorethroats and coughs and XO and what nots and I sort of switched off. Only filtered a few key words.

Personal advice for sporty fans. If you wanna hit the highways. Think twice. Go for trunk roads. lol.

Best to think carefully. I'm beginning to feel the pinch, especially when I'm looking for work! :sian: :giddy:

I had recently skidded and the leather wrapped on the top part of my side panniers (hard case) was torn.

Does anyone know where would be a good place to do re-leathering? Looking for genuine leather, most likely doing both panniers if leather is not the same as the original.
