Yo NEO, most paddock stands comes with reinforcing bars between the two supports. I think that you can pass a chain through and secure it to a permanent place.

Let me know if you want to look at mine; I can show ya.

Cheers

Guys roughly what's the market price range for an FP M400? What problems should i look out for in the FP platers? My friend might want to sell hers to me if she finds a suitable replacement bike, the main thing is she only rides it like once every two months, what problems might this minimal use cause?

yo yo...

:offtopic: but you wanna sell your mito? :cheeky:

anyways... my dad got his FS Monster for 4.5k... 5.1k OTR...

From then to now...

Ahh i have to research the pricing of the monster first and see how much my friend wants for her monster, but if everything works out alright i'm gonna keep the mito as well.

FS Monster 4.5k? From an owner or a bike shop? The would mean FP platers would be going for 4k or less? Can anyone else shed some light on the issue?

Sadly, the value of Ducati Monster 400s is this low. 4k for a 5 year old FP or FQ plate... It was 14k brand new!

But keep this in mind, the bike may be cheap, but you may have to spend quite abit to restore the bike if its not well taken care of.

Went ducati searching today and ended at the minevra showroom.

Saw a brand new monster400 sitting there waiting for a owner. yellow colour. According to the lady, there's another silver one.

A new one works out to abt 350/mth if you buy now before the new batches comes in. With a 24mth warranty seems like good deal. But its off my budget... Still going for 2nd hand.

Also saw a S4R --->>> SOLD!

The price of a brand new M400 is slightly higher than a brand new Super4 Spec III.

And for that extra $$, you get 1/10th the storage space, two less cylinders, 1/3 less power...

But I guess all these don't really matter do they? :D If you can afford it, go for a new one. The quality of MOnsters have improved over the years, and the newer models are better built compared to the FP FQ ones.

neo u r definitely right.

When Rosli showed me the monster, the rattle and growling..... I think the feel will be similar to a xr4. Not the smooth riding type like super4.

btw, u have a pm.

Wow, so wide??? Kinda spoils the lines of the bike..

But the wideness is there for a purpose.

When u look from the side, is almost non-existence.
