Frankly, I myself don't see it as a duke meet-up; i've asked Jade to come along; she's riding a nice Super4.

 

As for how to get there, well, take Nicholl Highway towards Stadium from city, turn right at the end, and turn right again, can;t miss the KFC and the Macs there. Agree with Neo, parking there is a breeze, plus the food's cheap and aircon plus smoking area for anyone needing a fag.

 

Will swing by bout 9 or so; darn, how to know who is who? wait go to wrong group.

Well, for everyone's info, I just got my bike back, heres a breakdown of the costs:

 

Piston Rings x2 - $260

Gaskets and Shims (valve clearance) - $85 (Clutch cover, both blocks, valve covers, cam covers etc)

Engine oil Motul 5100 x3 litres - $45

Oil filter - $10 (KnN, bought from MAH open house)

Spark Plugs Champian Copper powerx2 - $5 (Gonna start my spark plug cable mod soon, with irridiums if I can find em)

Timing Belts x2 - $70

 

I can't remember anything else now, that should be it. Running in the bike now. I think I need to go for a good tuneup, cos the response is still abit sluggish at low rpms. Gotta get my spark plug cable mod first, cos I think its corroded.

My apologies to NEO for not joining in the meet-up. Looked like rain my side so I didn't ride.

 

BTW, I got a buzz from another SBF M400 guy who could not meet up as well.

 

Yo, NEO, Minerva guys told me not to install K&N filter for M400, do let us know how your baby's performing with that filter.

K &N filter should b okie... its had been beri welcome in almost every bike..

well, something about the air-fuel mixture being affected and not suitable and that it is not really nec.

 

I know that K&N is highly regarded; I also contemplated it but was told that. Would like to know what is the outcome, that is all. Hoping to learn and if it is favourable, would probably install it myself.

oh, you mean the air filter ah...

 

Well, its washable, and air filters are just air filters, they don't affect the engine's protection or wear n tear, so should be harmless.
