For Mirrors I guess u can get from Motorworld as I saw a K7 with carbon fiber ones....its sharp shaped kind.

 

I just went HKL this morning to check, its very expensive. Its 1549 includes everything, like ROV check, certification, and installation.

 

I think I call sporting motors later.

tabako: hey bro, my previous monster i used el cheapo mirrors from e shop nxt to ah boy....it's not too bad, but when u go fast e mirror vibrates A LITTLE... e other thing is tht with e smaller(n nicer lookin) mirrors, yr blind spot kinda increases. something u got to consider abt.... i always tot e mickey mouse mirrors were so big n round for a reason.. i tried super4 mirros too,blind-spot coverage as good as mickeys, n a little nicer lookin but still quite big.

I went to motoworld and bought my mirrors already.. wa $60 but its a beauty, but no brand one, from US.

 

And i bought Rizoma grips as well. Super nice, gold color but i went to workshop and they say the adapter dun match. So i refunded it.. too bad, they costs me $90.

despairmonster900: thks for e welcome! haha. i kinda lost touch with e forum coz i knew it would itch me to get another monster... i wanted to get another one after my mum told me i'll b staying another yr here...but timing not nice le, no nice ones came along... i'll sit n see how ! i miss e v-twin sound. altho my vara also v-twin, it's almost too quiet to be one.

despairmonster900 : mine is black..i want to do the rims and frame when possible. making it a project bike. so when something spoilt, i would replace it with a mod or something.

 

Duke_Monster: I heard he is a drinker, needs diff type of persuading. I have not have this type of i service mech type of attitude since a long time. I am cocern about stuff like my idling, and i like to shott qns to learn more but every time he said "no need la", "dun scare yoursef", "noisy". Damn funny man. Make me feel like i riding RXZ.

I haven use carb bikes for quite sometime and realise that it behaves alot more diff than i tot. The idling needs a some trottle until it really warms up(too long), then it stablize. I ask him why sometimes after a long ride of say 20km, idle can die at traffic? He say ducati idle idle then sometime like that one. Wah?????

Just got to the Agent & ask them to service your caburetor..

Set ur timing.. @ least if anything "****-up" u can always go bak to them & say.. I tot u changed it oredi.. I pay for the service wt.. Ur the main agent man..

Btw not many can realli tune the Duc..

As far as i knowlah.. Correct me if i m wrong..

oh...i gt my reg mech to tune my carb...he said engine he dun touch...he said if after sync n tune stil funny then maybe oher things wrong. but funny...everytime miked touch then the monster behaves....lovl

Later Im going to over to Mike's to get the carb tuned.

Idling has gone erratic when the bike is properly warmed up.

Everytime Im there, he says next time then tune lah or he performs some short cut like increasing the rpm at idle..........

 

But what to do? Is there someone else who knows the Duke like he does and actually DO the job?
