1. 2nd hand S4Rs

2. Monster 1100S brand new

3. Streetfighter S brand new

4. Superduke 990R Brand new

 

And if i take option 1, inspection is due, anyone with stock S4RS enhuast to borrow as owner didnt keep original...

1. 2nd hand S4Rs - proven bike. not much issues.

2. Monster 1100S brand new - seems like currently this series of 696 and 1100 still have bugs that have yet to iron out. eg. wiring

3. Streetfighter S brand new - good good....nice nice....

4. Superduke 990R Brand new - good....nice....

 

just my 2 cents worth..

The price for the 2nd hand S4RS is quite close to a new 1100S. Granted that the remaining new S4RS is more ex. Decisions....hard to make.

Japanese people got no priority parking. Read the invitation card. It actually says Ducati got priority parking provided. LOL. Damn it I cannot go. AAAArrRRRGG

congrats on your purchase. even if it is a lemon, it is nothing $ cannot solve to bring it back to it's former glory. curious, why do u say it is a lemon? Something you could not detect when you were viewing/testing the bike? You should be able to spot oil leaks and a quick test ride should also be able to generally prevent unknown possible costly repairs, i would think... i hope at least you were made aware of the bike's deficiencies and u purchased it on that basis. Sometimes, if you bought it cheap, u have to be prepared to top up.

 

had someone reserve my monster i put up for sale. very confident i gave him a good deal and a great bike. would hate it and feel terrible if the bike i sold is later regarded a lemon.

Once done up it'll be a blast to ride...!! Shops to reconmend is Raymon @ Bike Harbor 96824277 and Gerry Louis @ Tampines area..

she in running condition now ... how good??? not sure ... waiting for the next ride up north to test ... :angel:
