Dear Forum friends. Hope you can help me here with a newbie question. I am a harley rider and do not know enough about ducatis. My friend just got a ducati and needs your advice as to where she can find a good mechanic/workshop other than the one from Minerva dealer?

 

Someone who knows ducati and maybe can help order and also install some rizoma parts and other stuff.

We will leave SG on June, direct to Penang. That's approx 700kms. 2 nights in Penang and then to KL for 1 night. Hotel costs will be approx RM$150 per night on a twin share basis. Meals, fuel, shopping and extras at your expense.

 

I have a support vehicle that can follow us to carry our gear, some spares, luggage, shopping, etc. Looking for 2 or 3 substitute riders/drivers who can drive up in this support vehicle and alternate the driving/riding.

I can make it on Sat Sun Monday. Friday night i have to go for the Sports Awards (the one where the STTA and the coach buay song never get nominated. LOL) I will bring my mom up. She is going to be my pillion but thinking of putting her in support car if she gets too tired. She cannot drive by the way.

My Cb400f not sold yet but cb750 more or less sold already.

Still got a W650 on current project. Going to make the W650 into a Street tracker.

 

Then will start my Monster project. But i dun mind buying 1 now if the someone selling at a right price.

anyway, i recommend that you get to know the monster prior to starting your monster project. the knowledge alone will make the job alot easier. i learnt that the hard way.

Rizomas are pretty straightforward when it comes to installation. just need to make sure you get the specific parts for the specific model. well... some are pretty universal though... eg. grips, mirrors, blinkers and the like...

i can help you out if you like. with the economy in uncertainty, no need to pay extra $$$ just for installation...

i sold my cb750 already. CB400 waiting for a friends to pass his 2A. If cannot sell by end of next month then i will lay up the bike and keep inside work shop.
