hope they throw out the retro gauges and stiffen the suspension.

last 3 test rides at PML was uninspiring.

 

 

seat height looks high man, dont think a midget like me stand a chance of mounting w/o assistance.

i think u can thin out the seat alittle on the 6113 so no need to tip toe unless u like the extra calf exercises at stops.

 

 

if dukes new adventure bike is 150hp, its really a viable option.

the current range of varas, v-stroms, gs are lacking in the top end for hwy cruising and too heavy for serious off road use.

 

abit of a jack of all trades, master of none.

 

i believe they dont make varas no more, and the new Vs are only 650cc?

The 6113 is in a nice shape exteriorly. Still sorting out the carbs. When you look at it again you would not recognize it as it has changed significantly since. One thing for sure the owner has put in alot of time and money on it.

DOC Cameron Highlands - Aug 1-2

The Ducati Owners Club will be going to Cameron Highlands for a weekend trip. There is NO NEED FOR BOOKINGS. It willl follow the “Wild HOGS” concept. Don’t know how many will join the ride and when will look for accomodation when you arrive at Cameron Highlands. It’s all about the journey. You have to make TWO commitments though.

1. When you join this ride, you have to commit yourself to ride and have fun.

2. Be considerate to the other riders in the group. Listen carefully to the briefings and other information given by the leaders.

 

Meetup at Esso GP, Aug 1, 8:00am

 

Some of us may also just want to ride with the group part-way. Just turn up.

 

Ramli Burger, Satay and Nasi Lemak - Aug 1

We have not gone for Ramli burgers for a while, so let's make the effort for this weekend.

 

Meetup at the usual place for a push-off at 10:30PM.

 

National Day Round-Island Ride - August 8

Let's commemorate Singapore's National Day with a round island ride. Come out on your most patriotic red and white. Meetup at the usual place and push-off at 11:00pm.

 

Memorial Ride - August 16

There will be a memorial ride for the unfortunate riders who have had recent mishaps. More details to follow

 

Lunch Ride - Aug 22

Let's go to Port Dickson for lunch. Meetup at Esso GP at 8:00am. We'll have breakfast at Gelang Patah, lunch at Port Dickson and dinner in JB.

 

Night Safari Supper - Aug 29

Let's go for Ice Cream at the Night Safari and then a ride out to look for supper.
