did some cleaning of my bike just now and maybe i have disturbed the temp sensor or something.Keep displaying --- no "LO" word..any idea where the sensor is?? Read somewhere its on the right hand side?

Different for different bikes. Mine is right side rear between the rear fender and engine case manifold joint. It should be a small wire that ends with a probe into the engine block. Other end is a 3 split wire that connects to a plug under your seat.

I'm riding a monster 696. I have some problem switching gears. I switch up from each gear around 4000rpm. Not very effective. And is it normal that the pick up is rather slow? Thanks. Best if you could give some tips.

Change pipes and air filter. Change front sprocket to 14 t. In that order. Should get significant increase in pickup. Cheers

The 696 is a 2v entry level bike. Was never built for speed. It does hold 1 of the best fc bikes in the ducati range and an easy city bike. Effectively it only has abt 50bhp at the wheels or so. If u r running on aftermarket pipes the power delivery is alot better.
