Just got a quotation for my 24k service for my m696. I was quoted ard $1,000. And that is inclusive of the belting. Is this normal? Can anyone advice. Thanks

After finding out the probable cost of its maintenance, im starting to think of letting go of my M696 only after i've settled my 24k service. Don't think i can financially support myself wif this bike. Haizzz...

1k for 24000 km service is too much even though it includes change of timing belts. M696 is a low end duke with simple air cool engine. I think the local agent is over charging just because there are not many bike shop can check n set the valves.
