Anyone whom intends to purchase their first ducati should strongly consider this bike. And thats not an understatement.
Agree wholeheartedly. It's the quickest m400 in Sg.

Dreamed I was a muffler. Woke up exhausted.

Anyone wanna trade their GT1000 + top up for my 2011 streetfighter S?

Interested please contact me at

9272-9088.

I might consider a Paul smart if it's in red. :)

It's not about the power or speed or how fast your ride goes but the time & effort spent to achieve something different

My Toys:

Harley XR1200

CB400-V-tec III (served me well )

Streetfighter S ( never felt better! )

They are all called sports classic. Just that there's the GT / 1000 monosposto / 1000 biposto / 1000s / paul smart. 5 different variations manufactured @ different periods.

Grab it off ebay. Or get something from a newer bike and retrofit. I installed 1098 fans on my old bike.

But fyi, both fans come on @ diff temp. But if u r using good coolant, there's a chance that they dun even start up. I had a fair bit of a fustrating time waiting for my fans to come on just to see how strong they were. And even if u were to run only on a single fan like the st2/st4, it should be fine. If u were to refer back to your user manual, it would indicate wat is the engine cutoff temp.

Hello gentlemen. I was referred to this thread from the main Ducati thread, so I'll post my question here.

"I'm looking to join the Duc family with a Monster 400, but before I jump into any commitment, I'd like to find out what it's gonna cost me. My concerns are the servicing and maintenance: how often and how much does it cost?"

I'll mostly use the bike for daily commuting and the occasional trip up to JB and/or Malacca.

Thanks in advance!

If anyone is interested I have a couple if items for sale which I never fit to my monster.

Jackup kit -$25

You just insta it between your swing arm and suspension arm for a nice ride height gain.

Second are engine crash bars $25

Or both for $40.

no luck with ebay. seems the fans were pretty specific for the 07 model. am aware of the varying temps at which the fans come on but its confirmed seized. crazy duc man is US$271!!

Check the part no with ismail. Should be the same accross models. But for $271 for new parts that price is ok.

It looks bloody awesome. I did consider it and I love the panniers, but the price is too steep for me. It's too good for a newbie for me.

Greetings fellow Ducatistis,

After much thought, I am putting up my 2010 Monster 1100 w/ ABS for sale. Reason why I'm selling is because I don't have the time to ride anymore with my busy work schedule and I rather a fellow Ducatisti ride it in her full glory.

It is kept in a sheltered carpark and I do not ride in the rain. I also only ride during weekends as a means of pleasure and not a mode of transport. As a result, the bike has an incredible low mileage of 3000

The bike is also washed and waxed (Dodojuice Supernatural) weekly on my own and is taken care of mechanically as well.

List of modifications (who leaves a Duc stock?):

1. Termignoni CF end cans accompanied by air filter and DP ECU

2. Rizoma rear sets

3. Speedymoto Shinobi pressure plate with Speedymoto clutch cover

4. DP CF fuel tank cover, vertical strip & front fender

5. Touring seat with red stitching (better for your lil bro)

6. Brembo RCS19 master brake pump

7. CRG clutch lever with 5 adjustable biting points

8. Carbonvani CF rear cowl

9. DP short tail licence plate holder

10. CRG bar end mirrors

11. DP led signal lights (front and rear)

12. Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa

13. ASV brake and clutch levers

I'm asking for $25,500 firm. I consider this to be reasonable with the higher COE now, list of expensive addons listed, pristine condition and ultra low mileage.

Enough of talk, here are some pics:

Those who are seriously interested can contact me at my mobile (9847 7595) for viewing. I can let go the bike at anytime.

Cheers,

Desmond
