Helmet Advice

Hello all,

 

My dad is taking his class 2. He has a Zeus flip up, non-psb approved unfortunately. He is looking for a helmet, but he has a huge head. Zeus, he's wearing an XL. So in order to take his class 2 lessons/tp, a psb approved helmet is needed. The problem is, all the psb approved helmets go up to XL only, and is asian sized. What I would like to ask is, for class 2a/2, is a PSB approved FLIP UP allowed? We've tried going to so many different shops, but the open faced helmets are just too small. And he prefers to wear flips ups/modular. Any suggestions or advice would be appreaciated.

For test i just use the one they provide at the centre.

Try Shoei multitec? Pricey but good fit imo.

As long as your helmet is inspected / approved, it's allowed for lessons and test. However I won't advice using a full face for lessons. It's going to be very hot.
