Anyone knows if there are any petrol stations along the 200km stretch from Gua Musang passing lake Kenyir to Kuala Terengganu (route 8, 1744, T156)?

Also anyone who's ridden this route recently can advise on the road condition?

Thanks!

Road's in good condition, and that meaning paved roads. The road has no road sign, no kilometre sign, no development, no house, no village..........nothing. just road and trees.....the road is good.....no bumping and potholes.

No petrol station on the 1744, however there is one on route 8, where you could refuel before touching into 1744 and T156. The distance from Gua Musang to Kuala Terrenganu is no more then 215km. Would your bike be able get through that distance??

Nabil15 - Thanks for the info and the pictures looks great!

My bike hits reserve at about 200km after which i will probably have another 60km to go. So it should be do-able but i'll need to be conservative on the throttle

Just came back from my trip.

I did a 3 days loop from

Day 1 Singapore-Cameron Highlands

Day 2 Cameron Highlands-Gua Musang-Kuala Berang-Kuantan

Day 3 Kuantan-Singapore

Just want to share information on route 1744 (Jalan Felda Aring) - this road is in terrible condition now. With many potholes and long sections of gravel. There is a police post at each end of the road. It was a bumpy ride on my road bike and was lucky that it did not rain, else it would have been a real struggle. I found this video of the road (taken by someone else, not me)

and the road condition now (as at Aug 2013) is exactly like that. Once you hit T156 though, it is nice and smooth all the way (some potholes but no big deal).
