i dunno about 06 model. But if ur toking about earlier models, stebel magnum wont fit at the stock horns locations UNLESS you cut the inner black colour panels that are getting in the way. I did that. You can try fjrtech.com.

OTHERWISE, you can install at other locations. One of which is near the header area. You have to ask capirexx about that. Seldom see him around this thread though.

Thanks, my friend for your valuable advice. :thumb:

BTW, for all your Hella horns, are they Electric horns or Air-horns??

bro i m riding a 06 now an im using the hella air horn ... its quite loud too... i get it for free when i buy my bike.... when the mechanic first install the horns and i gave it a try i myself got a shock... cannot make it right...hehehe

i try my best to discribe where they put the horns ..

they put it infront of the radiator just below the speedo meter and handlebars....u cant really see the horn if u are standing infront of the bike but u have to bend and look underneath... there are 2 screws there left and rightside there is where they fixed it... quite neat and the sound can travel too...

hope u understand...

Thanks, deanz4, I think I know roughly where you are referring to. Anyway, like nakano said, best is I can make it for your meet-ups and learn from you guys more. What are the advisable things to install or mod and what are the things that I better not touch. Thanks very much for your explanation. :thumb:

Can anyone tell me how the price of an FJR1300 compares with a Honda ST1300.

dragon,

many ppl like to compare this 2 bikes & i use to do that. but ever since i test ride the STX1300 & own the FJR1300, i stop comparing them. wonder why? basically they r different. STX is a tourer & FJR is a sports tourer. got it?

Yes I know the FJR is more sporty. Actually I think the ST1300 is more my style but I am just hoping the FJR is cheaper.
