for FREE ah??!! sure not?if i know i change it a long time ago.mine is 08 model some more..must make noise lah like this.btw bro how long do u own ur FJR when u change ur speedometer?

 

i got my fjr on april 06 and change my speedometer on dec 06. waited few month for the speedometer to arrived. must keep on bugging them, if not it will take longer.

18 may 2008 sun morning around 7am will meet at GP then we will head to Kl to have lunch then we will ride back to melaka to stay at the Al Famosa.. then that day we will go to the mini sunway lagoon at melaka then if have time we go have a nice dinner at melaka. next day go for durian buffet...

 

come back to singapore around 9pm..

 

gues come lets go man clear carbon... the more the merrier.

Hi everyone, you have been probably asked this too many times .. before this person is asking about it again.....

 

May i ask if anyone would be kind enough to let me know what is the OTR of the FJR1300 now?

 

I have been checking with a couple of shops and they all quoted with a range of 24-27K.

 

I would of course go with a cheaper deal but if the buying experience is bad, i probably wouldn't mind paying a little more for a better buying experience.

 

Would greatly appreciate your inputs everyone.

Mayb those who juz bot their 08 model can share.

I bought mine 08 model for 26k OTR..think that should be quite reasonable but make sure u ask them abt ur insurance cost PROPERLY!! sometime they just suka2 state a low insurance premium skali when u sign up its actually way more than what they say..all shops comes with their "insurance files" for u to look.got different range depending ur age.

FYI, if u r riding 06' model, you can change e speedo meter for FOC, but it only apply for those early batch of 06'. You have to pay if u r riding 07' onward sice HL having problem for exchange e speedo meter with their HQ...

Crash_8114, I think what happy_cookies mentioned explains why we didn't get for free. Only the pre-06 models get the free change. Ours can't. But of course, maybe we can try go down together with Kazky also and try argue our case. Since thats 3 unhappy FJRians on their doorstep, they might be forced into giving in.......
