Ben, I met up with the owner. Dude not really keen on selling (forced to put up ad due to wife). So he shared some tips on what to look out for. It does not look impressive, nor is the fittings that great.

My once he thumbed the starter, I realized what all the fuss about the bike was all abouy. On stock pipes, it is the angriest sounding bike I have ever heard!

backside itchy!

The symptoms are loud gear changes (clunking sound in every gear) and the rear sprocket has some free play.

You can contact the guy, Jack, at [email protected] or whatsapp him at +60177999008. You can ask Jack whether you can meet him in JB for the parts and payment

Thanks I contacted Jack but he is not able to meet up in JB but asked to transfer $$ from SG? Btw how did you transact with him?

Bought 1 set of Arashi brake rotors from ebay. 50% cheaper than EBC or OEM. Good review even from ZX12 and Hayabusa riders. Going to motormatic to install these.

Hi all!!!

By any chance if any of you guys are looking into getting good quality GOREtex jackets/raincoat. Please give my product a consideration too.

link : http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/369640-CLEARANCE-SALES-OF-GORETEX-RAINCOATSJACKETS-(-ALL-MUST-GO!-)-Not-Common-Brands?p=7750076#post7750076

Alot of color choices and not the common brands of raincoat riders are using. Quality of water resistant is as good as NS issued. However, it's of a much thinner layers to suit our hot climate. Mutiple air ventilation zippers on the jacket too for riding during the day to protect from sun. More info please refer to thread or contact us! Thanks and ride safe! Cheers!~~

Changed my front brake disc to Arashi disc at motormatic yesterday. So far so good. The brake pads are worn to the limit after about 25000km, going to change new brake pads and brake fluid soon.

Styling very similar to the Z1000, if price is almost the same as a Z1000, would anybody goes for a Z800 since its 200cc lowe??. Unless its below $$17K I think I would trade my Z750 for this.

I doubt the price will be similar to z1000. Most likely it'll be priced similar to the z750 cos it's taking over it's place.

Just read from this site that the Z800 is built in Thailand compare to the Z750 which is built in Japan. Retail price is RM47,989 approx SGD19500.
