*Mods, please advice me whether is it appropriate to post here. Thanks!

It is a place when the Sun, Sand and the Sea comes together in the Land of Smiles. A place where all the fun combines. The place is Phuket.

When you think that all the elements has come together to make Phuket a really good place for a beach holiday, throw in some 30km of hills with winding roads, with breath taking scenaries and best of all, cover them all with nothing but the Moto Guzzi California Vintage. Result? An extremely pleasurable experience beyond description.

I just gather enough good karma to get a rare previlege to do just that.

Upon hoping on and rolling off on the California Vintage, imagination engulfs me, bringing me back to the 60s in California, where the LAPD police rode this bike to patrol their highways. A rush of pure excitement released in me as this bike to me is like King tut's tomb to an archeologist. I am actually riding a piece of heritage from the Eagle of Modello, Moto Guzzi.

My trip is in a good time too as it has coincide with an annual bike event that has been holding in Phuket for the pass 13 years, Phuket Bike Week. During this weekend, an exodus of bikers from all over the world ride their way across the Sarasin Bridge nto Phuket. I have a wonderful opportunity to ride together with a group of Harleys from the Saudi Arabia Chapter. It took them a week to reach Phuket from their hometown in the Middle East! Well, passion knows no boundaries!

Thought the bike itself does play a role, it is always the rider rather than the bike to go for a road trip.

both nights and NA bro pretty right...

a few of our sbf members made it to Thailand with some kups.

Rider's spirits plays a huge part in the trip...

The bike in different makes and models will in one way or the other,

affect the spirits of riders. so I guess the verdict should be, Riders and bikes, one cant do without the other.
