hehe...something which i didnt expect fall on me this morning at SLE ard 4am++

I was riding at 100kph along the SLE as I just came back frm JB aft my petrol n ciggy trip, as u guys noe, at most sgp's eway, there r low bridges connectin the eways... esp CTE n SLE, so travellin at these eways. there will be upslope rides, den downslope rides...plenty of them, so, 100kph upslope I was doing, den at the level part of the bridge b4 the downslope, felt that my left socks was quite loose, so I bent down to my left n try to adjust it w/o lookin infront, so downslope, speed picked up by my bike. didnt notice the speed thou..

when I was done wid my sock adjusting mission, I looked infront n to my horror, I was heading for the kerb! ( shld u hav noticed, the the entrances to the eways always begins just aft the downslope part when u r travellin on the eways itself.) so I was headin for the kerb nearest the eway entrance, wid all my might, I pulled the left handle n pushed the right handle makin my bike to swerve right n just missed the kerb by inches! phew! but i was riding on the chervon marking of the entrance infront the kerb I've just missed...

So w/o signallin, I just continued riding on the accelerartin lane of the entrance n turn right to lane 3, n then just "cup" to lane 2(still w/o signal)

OK, now I can relax n ride...BUT, something just zoomed past me n with the familiar "PEE!!" sound n Mr TP waving for me to stop.

Heh, wad u doin? trying to ride on the kerb? n take a look at my speed radar-117 was was I saw...

:help:

nice mercury visor u hav! wow! white light n a nice black headlight protector!

sticker no. plate! reckless riding! change lane abruptly! n w/o signal! riding with 1 hand! action causing near accident(I was tryin to ride on the kerb mah!)

Haiz.... *cut short* beg n beg n was let off wid speedin, just a 6pnts n I promised that I'll send the $150 red packet to TP dept....

Wat a good start of sunday..

the date was 4/4/04---fp4404L is my number plate... 4D any1?

I LOVE my R1!!!:shades:

theres a diff between max tyre pressure and recommended?

for me, i put 250 front n 300 rear.-------->not recommended as too much air liao. corner that time must be careful but it is not really this number cos some air will come out.

i think 240 front n 280 rear is ideal bah.

You mean the headlight protector or the actual plastic of the headlights?

Coz if the the actual plastic, you cant get it anywhere, it goes together. If you're talking about the protector... i not sure liao...

Haynes manual recommends psi at 33 for front and back... if pillion, then 33 and 36.
