I am approaching 40 yrs old btw... when I see the NV picture, I suddenly feels young and remember my Army days.........

yours is the Mark I NV with the chrome sidecover, earlier than the Mark II.

 

It is shaft drive with centre stand and 2 exhausts , 1 on each side. The footpeg is back wards giving you a more upright riding posture unlike other cruiser.

ignition key hole also on the handlebar in the middle, not at the side.

 

I would like to have it as a project bike but my stable got 3 rides now and I have limited time and space for your well kept unit.

Wow, you really know alot about this bike.

Yea, its a cool ride. i had it change to a baseball bat exhaust pipes and had slightly thicker shinko tyres in, also currently its with biltwell keystone handlebars.

Not much changes been made since i still want it to feel stock.

watch this video, it do justice to this chopper. In the video, the owner move the footpeg forward, in my opinion that is a bad move.

 

The thing about these ancient chopper is that they have all the standard user friendly features that make riding them comfortable, if you can accept the style...i.e. !
