any idea how much Maxima Extra then? I wonder should I go OIl Change at Planet or Unique Motor.. hmm..

 

I prefer Planet is AH CHong won't ask me change this change that.. If I go Unique, they will say my tyre due to change again.. :dozed:

one thing good about Unique is not too crowded and ur bike get service pretty quickly.. and u got FREE drink + black/white video on how to KUP KORNER.. lolx

Has anyone done changing of engine top block for superfour before?

 

planning to change at planet.

 

is the workmanship good? im alil afraid. so many bikes.. wonder if it will be a rush job..

today change my tire and brake pads there.

 

very good service i must say. although got 1 mech no so friendly. HAHAHA

Changing your top block? You mean performing a top service? I did it for my Class 2 bike, took 5 days. I was there every other day to chat with the mech and learn though. They're quite welcoming in that respect, and no, the job is not rushed.

but it only shows that they care by asking right...decision ultimately urs and if u dun wanna change the other stuff, they cant force u right?

 

i also encounter similar shops in the past but a stearn NO does the job everytime...u should try it too...

ah chong keep asking me to change my tyres too. haha. they are merely suggesting.. maybe for those who doesnt know. tyres are indeed important.

ah peng.. imo the best mechanic there! but since i got my super 4 ..very seldom go there liao..cos nuthin much to do except to change oil which i prefer go unique cos faster..planet really getting very crowded these days....haiz....

40th Time at Planet.

Went to Planet to change spark plug for my 2nd wife GSXR400RR, FM9135X before selling. :(

 

Ah Chong personally attended to it, and took out the spark plugs.

Turns out 1 of the plugs was quite black, maybe that's why I cannot clear meter! :cheeky:

 

After the change, the pickup/accleration was better.

And sound was good, idling sound like Helicopter's Rotors.

Checked the radiator water also, water level still MAX.

 

While I was there, I asked if got any GSXR400 front brake's disc.

Ah Chong said too bad last week I never come, got 1 GSXR400 scraped, now front brake's disc sold.

 

But upstairs got 1 set of fairrings, good condition Yellow in colour.

 

Put in 2 rubber washers when replacing the tank. Commented that old bike inside sure got 101 things missing. Hinting for me to scrape. N.B always see GSXR400RR sure say this one! :lol:

 

After paying $32 for the job went off... wonder if I will still see my GSXR400RR again after selling... :(

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

imho.. overrated.. good mech all gone...

 

Well, I think Mark and Ah peng are good mechanics.

 

...Coming to think of it, the Chinese national mechanic. I once saw him do a ha-do-ken on the front headlight fairings of a scooter. The panel refused to fit in back nicely after he changed the headlight or something, and then he summoned the Hadoken.

 

*Boom!* Whacked the panel in...
