you won't miss the light...even if it's during daytime"

 

All traffic cameras in SG, when they go off, will let out 2 bursts of very bright flash.

Even if you are not looking directly at them, as long as you are near them, you can see the reflections.

 

Lastly, if you are still so worried, go visit the same traffic junction and survey.

Traffic cameras work in pairs. They are mounted on low posts, no taller than a basketball board and shorter than lamp posts. There should be 2 of them together, no more than 5 m apart.

 

Then, wait out 2 weeks. No letter, you are safe. Got letter, just ride carefully until your points top-up again.

i think the red light cam will work only after the turn right sign is gone..anybody can confirm this?

Red light cam will activate few secs after light turn red even when have green right turn arrow. Seen a van beat red light with right turn arrow and redlight cam took 2 nice photos of his rear.

i am phobie to traficc light .. lolz.. everytime i see it. i slow super down.. scared sial.. 12 pts leh .

Better this way. It is still ok if you kena 12 pts...If you beat red light and kill someone how? So pls slow down considerably when approaching traffic lights. Want to speed? Do it at PG.

Any way u can only wait for the letter if u kenna like what the rest of the guys say. No letter good loh, then this will teach u a lesson...

 

Pls slow down when approaching a junction coz stats shows MOST NUMBER OF ACCIDENTS TAKE PLACE AT CROSS JUNCTIONS. Even if it's rainy days u should even ride slower n slow down way ahead when u approach the junction.

 

From ur pic i guess ur riding a 2b bike so how much grip can u expect from ur 90 / 120 tyres in rainy days... sheese.
