a rebuild of suspension is only needed when a certain part is damaged and need replacing, like shims and stuffs like that.

 

preload can only be adjusted to a limit before it hits the max preload.

 

a better advise would be to change to a harder spring.

 

but the question here is, why do you wan a s4 to be so high??

regarding why chain will be damaged, because the bracket will cause the "stretching" of chain as you sit on bike.. too much tension to the chain so chain may damage if that bracket is used in long run..

den all i can say you eat too free nothing to do. like a tall bike? buy a scrambler, not a super 4. or if you got the cash, bmw GS.

 

but if you are still insistance on doing so, it's your call. it's your s4, not ours..

Yes. Our charges is $75 for replacement of fork oil seals, dust covers, service forks and replacement of fresh fork oil for Super 4/Vtec.

I only heard of tightening chain.. never heard of loosening chain one..

we can only advise, what you wanna do with your bike is still up to you..

it will affect cornering as the COG is higher and technacally, it will not stree ur chain..but ur front sprocket..

 

what could happen is the chain could get loose and get stuch in ur sprocket.

 

yes, u wan vanity..but u have to choose ovre vanity over safety

need sum suggestions...frm u guys.my rear suspension for my spec 3 is getting softer,although i put it to the max...is there anything dat i can do 2 make it harder again??

most prob spring gone already due to too much preload..

 

can bring down to mezzo to take a look, most prob just a change of springs..

chain damage is due to the higher tension stress that your chain takes when u raise the height.

stock rear shock for non-vtech got no indicator for adjustment...so how to know dat it is already adjust to max load?? *me noob abt tech things*

Went to chong aik @ desker this morning and saw this...nt sure abt the quality but i gez now our s4 wud hv another choice on budget suspension other than gazi. Cost abt $500/pair. Mayb cheaper.

 

The one with arrow pointed is adjustable, da one above it is non-adjustable. Didnt enquire much on it bt felt shud let the forum know.
