2nd tank of petrol returned 23km/l, 230Kms for 10litre of petrol. Beware of the last 1/4 bar worth of fuel depletes very quickly. I'd be pleased if it can do 25km/l after running in.

...............

This bike is really quite heavy I would suggest you goto MAH and try to maneuver the bike and put on main stand and off. If can't manage to move off the stand den I would suggest to proceed with caution.

I just sprained my back yesterday during bringing the bike down from main stand, ouch!!!! :(

My technique is left hand on handle, right hand in lifting point and move off the stand. Once off the stand I will hit the brakes. But I think the safest method is lifting from the right side of the bike;

Right hand on handle bar left hand in lift point, move the bike off the mainstand whilst keeping the side stand engaged. Once the bike comes off the mainstand hit the front brakes with your right hand. This method ensure that even if the bike falls away from you the side stand will catch it.

I do quite a bit of expressway travelling that's why I think my FC is abit poorer. It is noticeably more strenuous on the engine at those speeds.

I use the same technique too plus my right foot on the main stand to prevent it moving together with the bike. But yesterday, I forgot to put my right foot on the stand, the main stand moved together with the bike and ended the front wheels too close to the kerb. I had to pulled the whole bike back a little and resulted in a sprained back.

I always on highway too but my speed usually at 80-90km/h. Only a few occasions went up to 100km/h unintentionally.

From a confirmed source I can tell you guys the top speed of the AD3 is around 120kmh indicated.

So cruising at 100kmh is already pretty max for the AD 300cc, don't think 200cc can comfortably cruise at 90-100km/h without almost pinning the throttle.

How to reset your ECU:

1. Turn on ignition

2. Open throttle fully for 10s

3. Close throttle for 5s

4. Engine check light will flash a few times

5. Turn off and on ignition again

This will reset the ECU, you can use this method if you have any problems with idling or similar problems with the ECU. The idling rpm may become reset to higher before it relearns to most suitable rpm.

Negligible difference for the AD3. You wan to use my bike as a test between "dyno run in" vs non, I don't mind lending mine for dyno test.

hi bros, understand that the last 2 mishaps was caused by centre stand parking. Any issue if we just park side stand (of cos provided that we dun park at steep/soft ground)?

Less issue but still there are some instances that require a fair amount of strength so you must try to know.

Perhaps someone can try to retrofit an actuator to help in engaging the main stand :cheeky:

After getting used to the bike and more refined the techniques it will require less strength.

Less technique initially = more strength require.

More experienced handling = less strength required.

True enough... Actually for main stands just need to ensure that both feets of the stand are in contact with the ground and then transfer your body weight to the bring the bike in position.

I shall see how tough it is when I receive my order... Didn't occurred to me to try it at the shop. Haha

My friend who booked the ADtre 200 from WY 1 week after I booked mine from NW.

He collected the bike last week and WY refused to honour the booking price of 9500 (M/C price).

My friend finally paid 13.6k (much higher then Mah's revised price of 13.2k).

He vowed never go back to them again..:(

So everyone just be careful when booking your bike, make sure the dealers spell the price properly on the agreement.

Last weekend realized the main stand rubber stopper is missing. Went to Mah yesterday, they told me to wait for 2 months for the parts to arrive. :(

Yes, it is screw in type.

Andre goto Kymco dealer MOTORSPORTS and ask. AD3 and Downtown is identical engine. the mainstand is part of the engine so should be same part.
