Seems you are not the only one with matte black ad3... Anyway it looks like a small car from far. Haha

It was ridden by a old malay couple, I was there at Mah when they bought the bike. However I think they bought the 200cc version. There is 3 matt black in total, 2x 300cc and 1x 200cc if I am not wrong.

Look! My bike has blue undercarriage LED from factory! This one TP cannot catch one! :cheeky:

*(Anyone want to guess what is it?)

Optical speed sensor? Hmm, what is the advantage compare to magnetic type ?h

Btw, 2nd refill today, 228km, 9.32 litre.

Wow Andre, your FC is better than mine. My bike still has that irritable clutch slip when moving off from standstill, do you face this problem?

I knew it was speed sensor but not that it was optical. Now that you mentioned it, it makes sense.

The blue light i guess is calibration, once you move the wheel the led goes off. I read on wiki that optical speed sensor is more susceptible to failure due to decrease in output of light vs magnetic hall sensor, however I do hope that this does not become a problem for us in the future though.

I think I have the clutch slip too. To overcome this, I just move off slowly until 20-30km/h then open throttle. And I always maintain 80-90km/h when cruising on highway. These probably help to save some fuel..

Hopefully this type of speed sensor is more reliable. Heard previous Adiva has a problematic speed sensor. I'd been riding my AD150 for 3 year without speedo meter reading. :)

I don't think there is any direct rule that this will infringe besides it has been done before by a local ad 200. I willing to find out first hand but first must find someone to fabricate it. I was considering engaging the services of some soft top repair shop but have no clue/ done my research yet.

Hi All Adiva Members / Bro / Sis,

Specially thanks the ben111 & Andre for their vast experiences and all who care to share in this track.

I am interested in 3wheel scooter.

Base on your experience, is 3wheel much safer on the road? Can this bike prevent better from accident?

I got to know from the track that Adiva 300cc cost about $14200 with insurance/COE/RoadTax/ERP unit. Does anyone knows how much does Adiva 200cc cost?

Thanks bro for the info. If can, I'll do the same. Just beware when the bike tilt to max, the wheel fender almost touching the inner wheel arc panel, to what I see, we can only extend the fender about an inch only.

Compare to AD200, AD3 is much more stable while on the move and during cornering but don't take it for granted as 3 wheelers will skid and drop too (A friend of mine dropped his MP3 and need assistance to bring the bike up. The weight of the bike is not joke.).

Understand Mah had raised the price for 2nd batch of AD3 300 to 14.8k, price for AD3 200 is the same at 13.2k. Best is to approach them directly to get the latest price as they always flip-flop on the selling price.

Thanks Andre for the info, the flaps I bought are flexible rubber. So I think it's a matter of balancing between not rubbing the inner wheel arch or the tyre. Will update here after (un)successful experiment.

Just hope that with the price increase comes with better quality bike, service, pre delivery checks etc.........

Silicone wiper that I bought from autobacs ubi. This will greatly reduce the damage on the windscreen from wear and tear. It will even leave a layer of silicone to promote water beading.

I brought the wiper to the store and the uncle helped me to change the refill.

refill? 12"?

how you change that?
