icic... last time ride ver S, tyres is definitely smaller than vtecs. i just dun remember the tyre size...

to all S4 brudders,

 

i just gt my S4 ver S! i am going to change my tyres! Which will be good say for touring and cornering, and that the price is not cheap but reasonably? I was recommended to use M1 tyres...am able to get it done with 255 plus installation, is it a good buy?

 

i need to change my spoket and chain as well, which type will be good and how much does it cost? i am going to get these done today, going to burn a hole in my wallet...............!!!

 

Hope the old birds or whoever knows alot of these drop a comment or reply!!! tks! :cheeky:

Not a old bird, but i was adviced to use DID X-ring with "original" honda spocket made in i think "Italy" cannot remember which spocket i using... if you like to know where i did it and the price can PM me...

my opinion m1 is gd but it doesnt last dat long..

255 might as well add a bit n get m3..

 

if u find tyre dat is good for cornering and can last long at the same time, do tell me hakz unless someone produce 2CTs for 400s..

yeah, im aware that m3 is alittle bit more...299...but bec im on budget, need to wk on my spoket and chain as well mah....thats y might have to use m1. really alot better for m3 tyres? what abt the BT series i heard ppl talking abt?

BT014 is comparable with M1.. almost same in every aspect price performance n lifetime..

hi guys...newbies here...where i can get 2nd hand gd condition rear tire only for my S4?....any shop sell any gd condition 2nd hand tires?? thanks!

i changed my tires ytd at 255...using M1 now and they really are good! Change it at Unique, the mechanic there are friendly....would recommend ppl to go there....

my rear tyre is punctured, struck a rivet.

my bike now in mscp near my place in amk

 

roughly how much will it cost to patch the tyre?

any1 hav contacts for mechanic that comes to you??

Hi..wat u can do now is to ride ur bike to the nearest petrol station, pump ur tire to the max rating. Then ride ur bike to ur nearest motordiam. I think the patching cost ard $5 only.. Good luck!

yup agreed with cashwong...it's better if you dun remove ur rivet. at least the air escaping will be much slower, allowing you to make ur way to either motortiam or nearest tyre shop.

bt 090 compare with 021.

 

Lasting, grip?

 

Use BT 090 before, find it quite lasting n grip well. So wanna compare it with BT 021.
