Motorbike Mileage Claims

Hi,

 

I've been riding for work purposes, and wish to claim 'mileage' from the company.

 

A question before I do that. How much is the market rate, say for per KM of travel on bike?

 

Appreciate some input from you guys...

ain't sure of saying market rate however i believe that they offer very very low claim for bikes..

For civil service, it's $0.20 for bikes, $0.60 for cars.

for my company it's 30cents/km..

my distance is ard 30km, but i claim 40km..

lol.. so far no complains.

Actually, it depends on company. For 2 companies I've worked at, I'm allowed to claim car mileage rates. $0.55 per km. So a 2-way trip from Bedok to Tuas to support a customer there will get me enuff to pump JB petrol 3 times....

Car mileage has a max cap at $550 per month, so I think there should be a cap for bike too.

my office mileage Claims is motorcycle $0.25 & car $0.65 per km.
