This apartment Ok leh.....Almost the same price as that apartment you book comes with BF as well....

Staying at Star Regency has ruined our stay in CH. The actual is NOTHING like the pictures or description in the website. In fact, I consider it as bordering on misrepresentation of material facts.

To put it in perspective, we paid RM300+ for a night and have a reasonable expectations based on the price. We stayed in a 3br apartment, and here are our list of observations:

1. Parking lot - dark, dusty and damp - had to walk really carefully not to step into pools of water.

2. Staircase from car park to lift lobby - oh my God, it was dirty!! I felt sick just from walking up - had to close my nose just to prevent god knows what from entering my lung.

3. Lobby - needs major cleaning, especially the walkway carpet - in most houses, people would have sent it for cleaning or just throw away.

4. Lift lobby - small and crowded - only 2 lifts available. I am a frequent traveller, and this is the first time I had to queue to take a lift.

5. Apartment - where do I begin? The interior was poorly decorated, with worn out leather sofa, and out of style lightings as well as pictures. Curtains were mismatched & dirty, and glass door was yucky. Net, a very poor interior design job.

6. Room with a view? - yes, if you don't mind looking at a busy road, petrol station and what not. We asked & were given a "hill view" room - slightly better but it's far from "serene".

7. Free breakfast - I'm grateful with the food presented (nasi lemak, mee goreng, few kuihs) but the ambience is out, for the same reasons stated above.

Conclusion:

Even budget hotels can be better. We won't mind it so much if the cost was 1/3rd or even half of the money paid. Like many who had shared their experiences here, we will never stay there again, nor recommend it to others. Key dissatisfactions are the lack of cleanliness and not having like "you are in CH" feeling.

3. 2nd stop at seremban R&R Petronas (Rd mileage 272km)

4. turn left at Rd mileage 284.5km (direction to Ipoh)

5. EST. 46km journey to Y-junction than keep right to Ipoh

6. EST. 9km journey to Y-junction than keep left

7. 3rd stop at Rawang R&R Petronas (Rd mileage 440km)

5. 4th stop at Tapah R&R Shell (Rd mileage 330km)

7. Taking Tapah to Cameron

8. Cameron Highland

Details on Returning:

1. 1st stop at Tapah R&R BP petrol (Rd mileage 332km) Head count

2. 2nd stop at Ulu Bermam R&R Petronas (Rd mileage 338.7km)

3. left turn at road mileage 460km, reverse journay

4. 3rd stop at Seramban R&R Petronas (Rd Mileage 276km)

5. 4th stop at Pagoh R&R Shell (Rd mileage 135km)

Oh dear !!!! u all changing date to 1 week earlier then my gf cannot take leave coz her assitant is on leave... I tink i will join u guys on sat morning ... I and my gf will ride up ourselves unless got pple wan to join us on fri nite .. I will ask hachi for direction or i will get a gps if i going. But cant confirm coz its not really safe just the 2 of us riding at nite at malaysia .
