a reminder to all joining on this trip, our preferred travelling style is quite different from other groups

Travelling

SAFETY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. SPEED KILLS.

1)the travelling style is very informal, no convoy, sometimes nobody mark the turnings, the way to cameron is pretty straightforward. Just remember the KL bypass is E2, E6, E1.

2) if you are not sure, i suggest you buddy buddy with someone who knows where they are going. we normally remind each other at every petrol stop of any turning ahead etc. anyway i volunteer to sweep at 130kmh no prob.

3) We are all adults so a certain maturity is expected. please ride properly, know where you are going, service your bike properly, dont need to chase those faster riders, no need to prove you better rider, can knee down, all that. bring spares, dont fall asleep (if sleeping pls stop and wash face, smoke, whatever) wear proper riding gear (eg raincoat)

4) please plan your budget carefully, cameron is 1200km two ways. You must have enough cash / card for petrol. i usually bring more than enough. passport, phone, everything secure and waterproof. you do something silly like leave your passport at the petrol station, you spoil the trip for yourself.

5) no matter how you read, the petrol stops are about one hour away from each other. We meet up at every petrol stop and will wait for you if you slow. also please do safety check / equipment check at petrol stop.

AT CAMERON

1) There is no tour guide. no fix itinerary kind of thing. you want to go where, you go where. most of the time you can find people who want to do the same things you want to do. Cameron got boh tea plantation, strawberry / cactus / insect / butterfly farm / nice food / nice riding road / steamboat / pasar malam / waterfall / hiking / etc. so PLEASE DONT expect to be shown around. no such thing one. also, we think this is the best travelling style. you want to sleep / chill out the whole day, then meet up later also can.

2) always compromise and keep your word to your kakis, dont spoil the holiday for yourself and others. we go there to relax and enjoy, not quarrel or whatever. must respect each other wishes. be punctual if you agree to meet at certain place, damn rude to make 20 ppl wait cos you wake up late.

sorry for long winded post, just want to clarify some points, cos some people may have different expectations of group touring, later end up unhappy.

i CANNOT WAIT for the trip lor!!!!

Itinerary is free and easy, normally i would visit the tea and strawberry farms, eat steamboat, enjoy the cool air, visit the night bazaar, and trek the numerous trails and/or WALK UP gunung brinchang. (have to give the old lungs a workout!) accomodation is very basic at desa anthrium apartments subject to change.

Looking forward interested people to join, newbies/small bikes welcome.

Riding speed is slow and easy, ard 130-150km/h. or more.

Expect lots of blind, deep, breathtaking, curves, corners, Kup until your knees drop......

Financial do plan ahead for petrol, food, entertainments, etc etc.....
