yes, this is the aircon one. the non aircon one and thus cheaper one the just next to SBH at guillemard crescent. cannot miss one. It used to be called fatty weng also, same boss, but the menu states fatty lai, all the same dishes.

 

famous dishes (personally tested by me to be good)

 

yao zhum soon hock (deep fried soon hock)

yim kok har (salt and pepper prawns)

black pepper crabs

deep fried shao rou in black sauce

steam garlic prawns

yi ping wo (this one expensive, got scallop and sea cucumber etc)

har jiong kai (belachan chicken)

 

basically any dish is nice. I used to go there regularly, at least every week. Prices are ok, slightly cheaper than average kopitiam but the food is much better. the non seafood dishes at normally about $8-12 dollars. seafood average $20. each dish (if you order the smallest) is enough for 3-4 people.

 

WARNING: their prices go up during popular days like mothers day, etc.

we have 16pax, plus cheeko friends 9pxs, total we have 25 paxs..
