good morning bros...jus read the threads....

=)

i met the same problem when i got my tank bra last year and guess what i did...

I just simply used a straw!! those for drinking water....becos of the flexibility of the straw, its very easy to jus bend it to fit into the groves directly. despite it's flexibility, the strap will not be able to wedge itself out anymore as the straw's strength is reinforced by the clip itself .

to all the bros, this is the cheapest way : just dun throw the straw away after u finish ur drinks, reuse it .!! environmentally frenly somemore ...

reminder: do not cut the straw along it's length, instead , just cut the straw to the exact lenght of the clip .next, jus bend the straw and fit the 2 openings of the straw thru the two edges of the clip (that forms the gap) and then straighten the straw.....

hope this thread helps....also , i realise that the strap will lose it's tensile strength as it's near the engine...so be kind to it, spray some armor all on the strap when u wash the bike ...or u can op for silicon lubricant spray (those used for diving that are used to maintain rubber and plastics) , this will prolong the life .....

have to used those hardy straws... those where bubble tea shops supplied ones... that type can last longer...

No need bro, jus have to use normal straw...it will last ......mine has been with my bike for a year le ....no problem at all bro ........

bubble tea one is very hard, so it's harder to actually wedge it between the gap to fit the clip ...

:offtopic: Hi guys just to check with you all, how to wash our bike with the tank bra on?? i normally go malaysia and ask the them to wash. they just use the power gun to spray the whole bike and wash as per normal. will the water spoilt the tank bra? and will the water go inside the tank bra and make our fuel tank rusty?? do you all take out the tank bra when washing our bike??? :offtopic:

One is going for $160(Bagster), the other for $55(Okado)

What is the diff? other than the price.

looks wise around the same..

Saw and asked a fellow biker today, he is using bagster, he says bagster's tank bra is more breathable, making it easier to dry, thus no chances of weird smell.. how true is it?

1)Will there be a smell??

2)Are the materials different?

3)Is the inner layer different? meaning, will the latter cause scratches on the tank?

though I have not had the chance to use any of these tank bags but I noticed the Okado one looks very ill fitting to the tank....while the bagster fits nicely on the tank....and the material on the bagster is a lot better. but of course the bagster one costs an arm and a leg while the Okado one is very affordable but of course the quality is not there. So up to u to choose.
