Recommended Posts

Hi,

I was wondering of buying second hand bike but before buying, I realise that I must know what to find out about the bike. Some of my friends caution me for being cheated, as in after buying the bike, some parts of the bike is removed or spoiled. So I would like to know what should I find out and how to know about this faults in a bike. Thanks

Best regards,

Dreyster

If you're buying from a bike shop, they will do the LTA transfer of ownership for you, road tax and insurance. If you're buying from someone over this forum for example, you will have to do them yourself. I would suggest you buy from a reputable bike shop. Many shops will charge you unreasonable prices if you are unaware of the market value of the bikes.

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

Oh, and another question, let's say I bought a bike and put it under my father's name, and me as the sub-rider. Is it go LTA for these? And what would be the cost (I not sure what cost is included in this, maybe insurance for me??)

Thanks
