hey guys.. i got a question hmmz..

Are there any jap cars able to hit 0-100km/h in 4sec ??

Cos after viewing on much info about cars ...

Here are the ranking.

2.5 wrx in 5.9sec

2.5 wrx sti in 5.5sec

evo IX in 5.1sec

well .. this car are in stock condition. and this is the figure which the website gave me..

So i would like to know.. the timing are tested in pre-program engine test or in actual with a human doing the gear changing to reach 100km/h.

so lets say, in actual. the jap car doing 6sec to reach 100km/h.

with extend mod will it be able to shed 2 sec off??

what i guess is tat even if u heavily mod, it won't do 0-100km/h faster but in other area. maybe the mid range like 120 - 150 faster.

 

well any pro would like to add comment to it ??

all depends on how you wanna set up your car... may be possible if you set up for drags... having close gear ratios, high final drive, slicks, lightening of car bla blah blah...

but will it be really tat possible ??

i think for 0-100km/h is the most standard.. if ur car can only do 6 sec, i guess any heavy mod u add will less likely to happen in the 0-100 but more on the mid and top end speed.

maybe lightening the car might shed 1 sec..

there're just too many ways to mod a car..

may it for 0-100km/h, 0-400m, 0-1000m drag race or top-speed...

different race criteria will have different mod setup...

 

if you're talking about 0-100km/h, just by changing the gear ratio itself, and you can see the differences...

 

its too generalised to said: " how many seconds it can improve", I think " how many percent you can see the improvement" is more fair...

A RX8 driver tells me that RX8 fuel consumption is worse than Evo. Maybe 5-6km/litre, normal singapore driving.
