Due to the stupid slippery multistorey carpark, I dropped my honda xr125l bike recently.

I was so depressed for a few days. Just bought the bike for 1 week. My virgin bike become used bike already.

Some scratches on the front fender and the side plastics.

Bad luck still followed, now my bike can't start at all, can't be due to the drop because it is those very stupid slow drop, my leg got most of the impact.

now sent to boon siew but never told them about the drop.

my question is: are they going to blame the problem of the bike to the drop? (under warranty period)

will boon siew be nice and ignore the drop?

still very depressed. I regret buying my first hand bike.

you bike cannot start, got try choke then whack the throttle? still got battery?(as in head lights light up) or is it the sparkplug?

with boon siew's experience, i'm sure they can see whether you drop bike anot..

dun worry la... drop scrambler is not like drop sportsbike.. scram drop alr, pick up, shake shake a bit, then sayang sayang then can start alr.. haha..:cheeky: :cheeky:

Dropping the bike is not uncommon

I dropped mine a few times when it was less than 3 months old. My first bike.oso dropped..

Heart pain but as long as you take care of it thereafter you will sayang the bike. Now it purrr like a pussssy cat..

as for bs, it will depend if any part is to be replaced..you pay for it. but call them to let you know what is the damage. If it is a small cosmetic damage you may want to reuse. After my first dropped, I quickly took out the mirrors and replaced them with cheapo type cos replacing them was ex.

Bro...

Don't regret buying an XR! It is a very good machine and low in maintenance. Understand how you feel about your bike. Mine, punctured on expressway two days after buying it.. heh.

While you can, try to learn some fix it yourself maintenance on the bike too.

Will be handy in term of $ and experience esp after the warranty.

Cheer up bro..

thanks for the nice words bros,

Just got call from Boon siew that can collect bike tommorrow. but need to pay $35 for towing. They said it is faulty battery and they changed the battery for me.

sign....why so unlucky get bike with faulty battery? now for no reason need to pay $35 dollars. :sian:

is $35 the standard rate for towing bikes? or is boon siew more expensive? next time i think will know better.:(

next time battery spoil, put to gear 2, cluth in, then push bike.. once you gained some speed, throw clutch.. then it'll come to life.. after that faster ride go bike shop change.. then can save on your towing money.. you can try bikebulance for towing... think 20 like that..
