hi i bought a compaq presario series desktop last yr.

 

tot of upgradding the ram

 

but not sure if its ddr ram or sd ram or wateva... mine is a pentium 4 2.4ghz. so shud be quite new hor?

 

i tried checking the specs for my series 0000... cant find any info on my ram.

 

so issit safe for me to get a normal kingston ram 256/512 ddr sdram 300mhz?

 

jstu checking.. hopefully someone can advise.

 

if not i will open up my com and bring down my ram to see if its compatitble.

call 62725300 , press Option 3 and then Option 1 , just tell them u wishes to upgrade ur rams but dunno what type of ram u should get .... they'll probably ask for ur serial number of the PC.

 

they'll be able to tell u what type of rams u are using and which u could upgrade to. and how much ..

how i find out mine was to download PC wizard than see my ram is DDR or SDRAM running @ pc2100 or pc3200 or watever ...than i try to buy back the same lor ...but until now i haven buy ram yet also
