ownership transfer

Hi, first time buy bike from bike owner. Can anyone tell me wat do i need to do when i buy bike from other bike owner. What is the forms that i need to have? (Eg. transfer form by both buyer and seller.)

Think you need to get yourself the motorcycle insurance or transfer the seller motorcycle insurance to you first, then you need to go down to LTA with the seller with both your ic's to sign the transfer ownership form.

so which mean that i must get the log card from the seller then go down to the insurance side to get the new insurance for my bike.

 

actually i own another bike, but going to sell away liao. so i can transfer my NCD to my new bike rite. but before that i must terminate my bike insurance. m i rite or wrong.

As for NCD think best you call up the insurance company to check, you need to be covered by an insurance first before the bike can be transfer to you at LTA.
