At first I was offered a full-system for the bike, but sadly forgot that there was no "full-system" for high-mount pipes. So I just took the slip on pipe.

 

As for performance, I think this is one of the few things that can affect your ride in many ways, through looks, engine performance, and sound. Although not given a very good review from scooter magazines, I still think GPR is quite good for that sum of cash. And sadly one of the few street legal varieties available in Singapore!

BRO! One more thing must tell you! Remember that the two small screws thats securing the pipe bracket will drop out very soon! Keep your eyes on it (not literally!). I've lost mine and used the cable-tie treatment, works well too.. hee...

If you want top-notch grips, give big cow a pm... His renthal grips are very good... But ex la.. And only comes in black or gray (not sure if he have both).. No blue for sure.

 

If you want blue, go LAB to check it out... I suggest dun get too soft type, will melt and get really sticky/ messy/ dirty/ goo-ey under the sun.. Got different x2 types of grips in all sorts of shapes, texture and price!

BTW all, there's this immaculate gray (rare) DNA I saw sometime back at cineleisure.. Never got the chance to put a note to invite the owner here.. Shame..

Go LAB is the best.. He got different types really.. Or you can go Mah motorparts (opp simlim tower--note: not not sim lim square).. Not bad pricing also.. If you dun mind black, go for the brand PLAYLIFE that's spelt as reverse.. I highly doubt those are the real mcCoy (by the price--under ten bucks), but they're gooooot... Go try it out, goooot value for $$

Daniel - Yes. 10th Oct man. If im there earlier can catch a glimsp of your exhuast. For the screw, there's a type of glue called ThreadLock which can keep screws in place. It suppose to fill up the gap and hold the screw tight like glue. Anyone knows if this one will work here?

Yea, I heard of threadlock glues, but problem is, some of the glues are not heat resistant, so not a really good idea for the screws near my exhaust.

 

As for riding the DNA, in my humble opinion it is a really easy bike to ride, just that it can get a little wobbly at high speeds. Yeah, it might take sometime before you want to pillion, he he, I was pillioning people after 2 weeks! But of course not my girlfriend. Only pillion people I "don't like so much"! Kidding only! And ever got people fall off the back of my DNA! Because the DNA seat got no sissy bar, and the hand grips are under the seat (some of my friends cannot reach), so he never grab anything, when traffic light turn green, cheong ah, he he he....

 

One more thing, if you have not riden a bike for a long time, best to treat your bike like a car for awhile and not squeeze in between traffic, stay to the centre of the lane, cause alot of my friends did that and they kanna people's mirror, one of my friend's on a Kup Kia knocked off a Mercedes SLK mirror, don't know if he is paying through his teeth?! He just had his license for 3 days!

Not Threadock la.. The brand is Loctite.. Its very good.. Its a type of threadlock glue.. But the prob is it dries up very fast.. So chances are yr bottle will be gone by the time you had a 2nd usage for it.. Another alternative is using lock-nuts.. That'll prevent it from vibrating loose... I just too lazy to be bothered with something as mundane as a number plate (?!?!?)
