hey bro, u sure the mechanic steals things anot?? mayb they repairing sometimes?? or exchanging somethings?? u cant b sure, can u?? who in the world would steal in the middle of the day, and somemore is the mechanic working at the shop?? he cant b tat stupid.. can he?? btw, hav u really get to know the truth of the whole story?? ppl is doin business leh.. y would they wan to get into a fight and create trouble??seriously, its abit doubtful about the whole story?? would they risk and get fired?? doubt so rite? did ur frens make clear and state wat they wan in the first place?? did ur fren ask them to write it down?? many cases, its the customers who is at fault, like never ask properly or never ask the sales for black and white. sometimes, miscommunications will lead to all this... so.. mus check properly... not to say u r making the whole story up, but sometimes, think about it, could it b bcos of a small misunderstanding??

As mentioned, his friend's brother in-law shouted 'HOI', and we assume that the mechanic was caught red-handed and had no choice but to stop whatever it was he wanted to do. But if he indeed had no ill-motive of stealing other's components, he would have carried on with a clean conscience and explained whatever he was doing to the customer who sounded the alert.

Anyway, to all riders in this forum, please do bring up and report fraudulent cases, misrepresentations, ill practices and aggressive intimidation to the legal authorities such as CASE or best still, go to a nearby police post to make a report against such behaviour.

If the reports here about shop owners shouting or challenging customers to a fight are true, always ensure that you have witnesses to support and substantiate any claims that you may have against the shop owners.

I'd rather have these a**holes put in their place rather than worry about my bike.

Sportbiker at heart!

yap. agree wif newbie1984. i knew royston for more than 5yrs. he will not get angry so easily. i always hang up there during my free time. they r friendly and helpful. they will do whatever they promised. but don't ask any 3rd party to involve. will make things even worst. ups for M1 motoring.

In the End of the whole story....

Everyone has their own Story to protect...

So hold on to it and walk away....

Its life not everyone has the privilege to experience a silver spoon....

Our friend here is sharing their bad experience at the particular shop...

If u believe that shop is GOD like....

Than by all means go to the shop....

its easy to spoil one's reputation, but to build up one, may take yrs..... but it jus seems weird that the employee is stealin in front of ppl.... sounds wrong... abit impossible.. and by stoppin work dosnt mean his consicence is not cleared... so... in the end.. we are onli listenin to one part of the story and not the whole story...

agree. If he really steal, I dun think u will be the only guy complaining. If the guarantor thing is not right, again I dun think u will be the only guy complaning. BTW, is it very difficult for ur friend to get a guarantor??

white sheeps there are many..

black sheeps there are alot..

black sheeps pretending to be white..now theres plenty..

dun get me wrong here..

one mans trash is another mans gold..

and anw both my frens haf their bikes now and we r happily riding together..

altho the road to gettin the bike may be far from perfect, the episode is now over..

we hold no grudges, hard bad feelings or whatsoever towards the shop..

Hi bro i intend to trade in my fx plate xjr and get a revo...so is bike production worth to buy the revo since i read the forum most said the price is cheap for new bike and trade in value also high...i heard BP get the revo fr boon siew?

Posted
had two bad experiences at M*-M*T**I*G at changi..two of my frens just took out an rx-z and gilera there.

first case rxz:

1) wrong paint work done..my fren wanted a white paintwork and instead got a black one..

2) collection time two weeks..within one week, the mech called, said bike redi..but turned out wrong paintwork and nothing has been done to the bike..in the end, after almost everyday of goin dwn to the bikeshop, collection was ready only after three weeks..paintwork was still wrong btw (second time wrong paintwork)..

3) my poor fren brought down his mother and father to be the guarantor..in the end, shop said its company policy tt guarantor must be above 21 but below 50 years old..in the end one fren helped out..but wait..still nd anodr guarantor..my poor fren had his ic retained by the shop until he found another guarantor..

4) worse of all, when confronted abt the guarantor thingy, two guys, r*****n and anodr malay guy b***k challenged me and my frens to a fight..

5) monthly installment grace period is only 5 days! compared to asphoon which is 15 days..

second case gilera:

1) free paint work quoted..only to find out a week later that paintwork not included..if wan paintwork, add $300..

2) guarantor problem again..my fen didnt noe abt the 21-50 yrs old policy..

3) b***k guy said 'why, why? got problem izzit?'..we got challenged to another fight..

4) monthly installment grace period is only 5 days! compared to asphoon which is 15 days..

for all..dis is a strong advice..pls avoid M*-M*******G at changi..

better be safe than sorry..

wah. just "ask" about guarantor they want to challenge u to a fight? they so violent!!!!!! u sure you did just ask?

If that really did happen, why didn't you call the police there and then? i know i would, if there were many witnesses and the mech was caught red handed, instead of complaining about the shop there. So have you complained to CASE yet? I really have doubts about your credibility of the story posted here...

perhaps the 3rd parties involved wanted them to cancel their order and go purchase their bikes somewhere else to boost their own rep with their respective shops or even earn some commission while they are at it?

A good mechanic is hard to find, to find a responsible 1 even harder. Some lousy shop I stated above cant even change a tyre properly do you think I would let them dyno run my ride......

Well things may be slightly cheaper there but if things are not done properly, bigger damages would be cause eventually leading to more cost.

Have a heart in doing things is more important than anything , lets hope my words would wake up some of you here.
