Walau pong dari tadi aku cuma ader dok memerhati kerana kesibukan pengurusan anak-Monster kat bawah bldg kat tempat aku keja , when cum to this part, aku nak sentuh sikit;

 

Walaupon ALMOST every1 of us merasa simpati to SOME orang2 tua kat rumah tumpangan tu & may hv heard of their cerita (dongeng) syahdu & kita pulak yg start to menyumpah (dlm ati) "aper punya anak .& bla bla bla ... " .

Pernah tak kita dgr story from the other party? How some parent ill treated the kids, how the parent betray the amanah by God to them? How some parent just run away & leave their kids in 'God' hand (mostly their grandparent), but comeback to 'claim' that they are indeed the parent of 'the kids'. How parent just spend their time kat seberang & cum bk just to ask for more & more $$$? WTFish. In my childhood day, aku always dgr a phrase, "oh, bapak dia kerja 'belayar' kapal" (means jarang in town lah). Only as I grow-up than aku realised that diaorang actually pei belayar kat DRC.

 

Now, do they deserved the good deed by the kids? Can we apply the phrase, "oh busuk2 pon dia bapak (or mak) kau jugak. kalau takde dia, takde kau kat dunia nie". Pegi dah!!! Such kids were not being asked to be borned into this world just to suffer in the 1st place. During ma early school days, I hv seen so many frens yg hving hardship facing lots of family related problem; mostly monies yg berpunca dari parent yg pei sembunyi kat bawah ketiak.

I am saying this bcos I hv seen alot & 1 of them which really touch ma heart was when aku visit ma very closed fren once upon a time & found out that his home for years for a family of 5 (minus his dad) was actually a rundown storeroom at one of the church, courtesy of the church people (ma fren is Islam). His dad (already sick by then) cum bk when noeing that ma fren dah pindah to a 4RM HDB kat Yishun then. Nak terima balek ker??? Tray to put ourself in his shoe

Sorry lah pasal aku terspeaking London kat atas, pasal dalam issue nie, ia lebih mudah di-express in London

Pek wat u say is true... and it might be hard for them to accept wat has happen...but org islam di ajar utk forgive and forget dan ialah satu tanggung jawab bagi anak2 utk menjaga kedua org tuanye di masa tuan kelak!!!

Apek > cerita kau touching lah .. tapi aku agree on the part that we dont owe parents a single cents and favour.... it's their duty to raise us up ....so kalau dorang ungkit .. memang nak kene tempeleng !

 

Aku cuma luah kan perasaan je ... pasal banyak cita2 aku terhalang, kerana nak kene support family .. abeh aku nak kawin . .takde orang nak support aku . .terpaksa struggle sendiri ..

anyway.. i guess to each is own... lain orang lain pendapat...

 

anyhow this is my own humble bumble opinion. i always believe what goes around comes around. I always feel that in order to get respect from people in this case our children we must first give respect to our parents.. sama jugak if we want to be treated nicely by our peers of coz we must treat them nicely first. Thats just how the world we live in works.

 

Anyway i guess most of us are still single and may not see this. but maybe those already with children especially teenagers would understand and see that actually our kids is just like us..similar in character..

 

Memang betul we dont owe our parents anything..believe me they do not want anything either. All they would love to see is for you to grow up healthy and not get into all sorts of trouble.. Apa salah mereka tompang bahagia.. luak ke kebahagian ni kalau mereka tompang sejenak.. Mungkin when we are of our parents age baru kita realise this fact..

 

Sekarang dalam usia muda senang ajer kita hembus our rights and such... Us sebagai lelaki would feel less pasal bukan kita yg melahirkan..we do not feel the brink of death that our wife is feeling...

 

I guess even tho these parents done worst for us I think its not up to us to punish them. Let God decide for them.

 

Just to quote a phrase "Anak-anak dilahirkan ibarat sehelai kain putih, ibu bapalah yang mencorak ukiran pada kain itu. Kalau baik, cantik lah kain itu, kalau tidak, rusaklah kain itu"

 

 

Anyway this point of mine is not intending to anyone in particular. Just renungan di pagy Jumaat yg mulia ini. Hujan lagy, murah rezeki...
