wow ... congratz dude

I think will enroll this month end.... po pi po pi not going to be tough

BTW, any ladies in this forum taking up also ......... ^_^

Not to be a wet blanket, but learning 2B isn't as easy as many pple make it out to be. The dropout rate is more than double that of any other class in driving school.

And never underestimate the devastating effects of friction on appearance. Guys generally don't mind a little scarring here and there, but ladies have a lot more to lose.

Ha congrats.Anyway,TP testers are definitely stricter then SSDC testers. So it would be wise to continue practicing in cause you forget or become complacent.

Good to hear that! No rider will discourage a learner from taking up riding. Just wanted to remind you fully of the risks.

Your riding pals don't need to be girls anyway. There are lots of friendly guys learning 2B in this forum, and who'd be good riding buddies to you when you graduate together. Find a group of fellow students to learn and build friendships with, and who will progress with you through classes 2B, 2A and 2. Friendships forged in biking school are built over the course of shared hardship, and tend to be good quality ties which last.

Don't be a lonely rider like me. I've always regretted not making friends in driving school while taking lessons. Way too late for regrets now though.

Grats! Don't get complacent. Biking skills tend to get rusty if unused for a while. Keep going for revisions to improve and stay current.

The map at level 5 has all the indication when to check back and blind spot. Go a little earlier to refresh your memory then practise that?

It's only a matter of time before you get used to the turning of heads.

No need to remember exactly where to check your blind spots. As long as you are going to move away from a straight line, check.

For checking back, check away from the kerb. Kerb on your left, check right. Kerb on your right, check left. Reason being vehicles pass you on the open side, not on the kerb.

And the difference between checking blindspot and checking back: for blindspot your bike is moving. For checking back your bike is stationary. Many people seem to be confused about this.

How tough it is depends on how you approach your lessons.

Is getting that licence your only goal?

Or are you looking forward to learning something new and improving your skills in every lesson?

Enjoy the process of learning and the test won't seem so daunting.

Hi.. I'm a current learner from CDC. If you guys don't mind me asking and posting in this thread, for those who have been on the road, just to verify, if you stopped at the filter lane because you need to give way to traffic, before moving off you

a) Check back left?

b) Check back right?

c) Check back right and left?

Your guidance is much appreciated. :)
