something funny happened. i took out my fairings to try sanding for a repaint and kinda gave up. when i went to fit the fairings back, i went through hell. and that was just for the head fairing. something i learnt from this, organise the screws nuts and bolts!!! haha.

hey there..hw much u got ur xr4 for? any probs? wats the mileage like huh? coz am thinking of getting one as well.. either that or wr200. u got ride wr200 before? btw..converting to a motard costs another 2-4k. why wanna waste money? dirt bike riding is the way to go!!

I got it for $3.4K with some good aftermarket parts ( the very next day the kick starter arm got stolen  )...its a '99 model...milage is was 80K when I got it ... you can get stock '99 model for about $2.5k onwards... I used to ride a DT200RR before for a shortwhile... that was a good beginner's fun bike... WR200 is a great buy too, with a lot of power and lightweight too.. i would have got it if not for the 2T part... i had to rebore the block and change the piston of the DT200 twice becos of spolit 2T pump... after that I gave up on 2stroke bikes.... but kick starting the XR4 can be a tough when in a trail... maybe you can consider the XR250... quickly get one and we hit the dirt together...

I agree on wasting money on converting to motard... I might as well buy a DRZSM but budget was tight at that time... now I just want to keep it as it is and enjoy playing in the dirt...

okay trackday.

first hour+ the track was wet and stuff.

fishtailed like crazy for the 1sthour. my balls really shrinked.

when the track started to dry up slowly got abit confident and my timing improved alot i guess. Luckily No crashes this time. haha.

Total bikes : about 15

the only small bikes were mine , spidey's 250 and a angmoh's kawa.

the rest were big bikes.

the 5 lap race was not held.

1 r6 crashed - rider still okay fairing scratched only

1 gsx1000 chain snapped - luckily he dint fall or what. Was waiting at turn 2

i guess this would be enough info on today.
