When that day comes, do everybody a favour & stay off bikes altogether, whether it has 2 wheels or 3 wheels is still a hazard to yourself & to other road users. Peace.

by LTA rules, we cant alter or modify bikr frame..

so there goes the conversion kits for trikes..

and there was discussion somewhere about carver one

http://autoreview.belproject.com/media/1/20070220-carver-one-side.jpg

which they want to import to sg, and LTA classfy it as car...

which means car COE, car roadtax, car parking fees and car inconveniences.

same goes for ATV... u can buy them, keep them at home... but cant register on road as i heard they are classfied as car too.

there's a senior citizen couple... usually seen around little india and farrer park area on old beemer cruiser...

when u see the rider (old man) walking, or moving, we cant believe he is still riding heavy cruiser with pillion..

well... that's the spirit.. :thumb:

so... 2 wheels or this..

That means that he is still capable of handling a bike even though his mobility is impeded on foot. Mr mepkoh was saying that one should explore the option of riding a trike when "one 's faculty is not suitable for riding bike".

Different situations, which brings forth my comment that the latter should do everyone a favour by staying off a bike.

yes, agree to it..

i was saying that it's the spirit of riding 2 wheels no matter of age..

or once a person's physical seems unfit... instead of trike or ATV.. he should go for this ...

haha....well it seems that the best alternative of riding is driving...

what i meant about the faculty actuall refers to our physiacal and mental ability in reaction to th e environment...not that our mind goes bonkers..

in riding..on top of controlling all the mechanics of riding..ie clutches, brake, throttle....the reaction time of such control is slowing down...on top of that

the dynamics of handling the bikes takes a toll when we age..

as we slows down...we need a bike most suited for that condition...

a trike will probably is next in line...it is stable and off course slower..( okay may not be any slower)...the above reactions/control requirements goes down too...

thats why a doctor certification is required after a certain age for riding/driving..

as mention an old man have difficulty of walking properly yet still can ride big bike with pillion..the question is..how fast he is going??? i am not surprise his speed is much lower than u guys..i will take my hat off to him if he is still doing more than 100km.hr..

the option of going for a trike is not something to be dismissed if u want to ride to a good old "age"...physically or mentally.....SO BE PREPARED..:cheer:

Here's a Sportster with a sidecar. This is a custom rig. Harley never offered the Sportster with a factory sidecar.

Side cars galore.:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Kmax do I feel resentment in you for changing from cruiser to street bike?

Don't worry there is plenty of time to repent and return to the cruiser's fort:cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky:

Ural, BMW and guzzi what else can one ask for?

I just love the looks, feel and sound of an old good Guzzi, though it has been around since the time of my Grandfather. I guess "they" don't do things like that anymore! Well it's not true.

"They" still do URALS

well.. just conflict of interest for me bro..

i want to go trips, i want to go fast, yet need to squeeze traffic as daily basic.

so street bike (as in super4) is the best answer for 2A.

if i can afford second bike... i'd get old skool springer or bobber for leisure cruise anytime..

apart from ural, beemer and guzzi, there are triumph, norton and indian left :cheeky:
