Thanks for the tips. My bike is about 80%. Coe gonna expire. If I do crash badly, I would scrap the bike there and then. Haha.... Only need a lift back to the customs.... Haha

 

losing the bike is not as bad as injuring yourself. that's why bike have to be in top condition to protect yourself. 😁

Haha. No tips la. Cos I also went with my bike. Actually tot of not really pushing the bike. But once reach there, try to go faster and faster and inevitably will feel the limits of the bike. In my case, my suspension. Lol.

Is the track open every day for pubic to pay and practice? Because the website says that the open track day is on 12th (no mention of 11th).

the "track day" indicated on the site refers to the days where rates are in a package.

 

while those not indicated are opened unless stated with maintenance or closed.

Track day is track day. Go to the website to check for the rates and times for practice. They've allocated times for cars and bikes.

Fun, yes. But for newer guys like myself, we will be like pylons in the middle of the road for the more experience riders. I would rather endanger myself than taking out others. I'll leave the track day until I have more time under my belt.

As mentioned by ticks, blueblood & jims. The circuit is open unless otherwise stated on their website. Each day that is not booked / " Track Day" is considered an open practice session. The day is divided into allocated car and bike session (you can find in their website including the weekday/ weekend rate).

 

Whereas, Trackday consist of several practice session followed by a 5 lap race at the final session. Rates are also different.

Just be aware that PG Trackdays can be dangerous..

 

Sometimes newbies will decide to change lines in the middle of the corners without realizing that there may be faster bikes coming from behind committed to overtake them already.

Hi Guys, how's the track surface at PG now ?

Last I went was about 6 years back (on my car) where the track surface was pretty bad, very rough, makan tyre like no body business.

Would be fun to go in a group to have some safe fun.
