I have a few key questions if any bros out there can clarify for me:

 

1. Can someone own a bike if he doesn't have a valid riding license?

2. Can a laid up bike be transferred ownership?

 

Okay so here's my story:

 

I want to trade my bike with another guy. When I came down to view his bike, he then told me that he doesn't have riding license but he said the bike is owned under his name though it's laid up. Is that even possible, to own a bike without a license?

 

I'm currently riding my bike as per normal.

So let's say that we intend to trade each other's bike, how would the procedure go?

 

I know I can definitely take over his bike, just send inspection buy insurance and road tax then transfer. But how would he take over my bike?
