Yesterday traveling at lornie road heading towards Thomson, going at about 70-80km/hr.

A car from opposite lane did a U-turn right in front of me with disregard of my presence on the road. Driver took all 3 lanes to complete her swift U-turn before "eating" onto the middle lane which I was riding.

 

Jammed brake and first time in my life saw the word "Scenic" so up close.

Rode beside the driver and turn to have a look at her, she behave as if nothing happens.

I wasn't those horn trigger happy type and regret not leashing my horn at that moment.

sometimes it's hard to react during the spur of the moment but if got chance shd hv given her a good tongue lashing....i know i would hehe

Saw a badly crashed phantom along Sims way today at arnd 1pm . Rider lying on pavement being attended to . But looks like the female pillion rider has bitten the dust. She was lying on the rd motionless & it seems bad . :cry:

Anyone was at rochor canal, arab st or around that area around 9pm on 20/5/2006 ? need some witness.

My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can.

This Atis (SFT 70**) tried to force his way into my lane at Grange Road (towards River Valley) this morning. :mad:

 

Behind me was an African Twin that managed to evade this car's aggressiveness. Pity I can't squeeze between the cars to get away from such people

just skidded at my plc mcsp, raining when i got home, blardy hell so slippery. broke my right mirror :cry: lucky got crash bar otherwise engine case sure scratched until v jialat.

Wed going down to TP hq. Meet the IO for some investigation. Its bout a HIT N RUN case. A Taxi hit my bro n drove off. ( caught up with him along bendemeer rd )

Anyway, today's traffic is light. :cheer:

My trip to work is ruined by this Nissan Sunny who seems to hate bikes (or me? :confused: ) She seems to block my way and even in a jam, her car was almost blocking my path!!!

today as usual, i turn from the slip road out to main road, AGAIN, side road got this nissan sunny car, AGAIN by the same auntie who got horned by me b4 just turned out. wtf.

 

the last time i horned her, i waited for her at the stop sign further. she didnt dare to advanced. she stop at the turn there where half of her car already exceed the stop sign.

 

now she is doing it again!!

hate those arseholes who park at my double yellow zig zag lines at my office there. obviously it's not allowed cos coming out of the car park and turning in fr the driveway is a blindspot and these dickheads hv to park there to wait for ppl. think i will complain to the bldg mgmt....

Today is good. Got to office in 18 minutes. I think the holidays have finally started.

 

Today is quite funny. At the traffic light at Havelock Road, before the ERP, this Caucasian guy whipped out his wallet and yup, started to fumble for cash card.

 

He noticed me laughing at him, so at least I tried to humour him by saying

 

"It's too late now isn't it?"

 

We laughed. Just as well the light changed.

hahaa... the caucasian guy riding or driving? not bad huh... still can talk to other road user on the road while waiting for traffic to turn green.

 

So far, i've only talk to other road user on the road once. Its a taxi uncle tat stop beside me. Seeing me off my engine ( cos my bike temp is too high ) he wind down his window n ask me, " wont your starter get spoilt easily?" "bo pian leh~ very hot liao" i replied. N both of us smile n continue our journey. :smile:

just now on my way back home... riding quite a high speed.. approaching left turn, so close throttle and brake.. then the bike backfire, and i din bother cos i'm used to it.

then approach red light after the turn, close throttle and brake. again, it back fire. both times are quite loud. then a S4 uncle stop beside me and look at me, i look back and he said...

 

uncle: *points to my exhaust*dun always play with it, 'the thing'(i dun know what he refering) will come out

 

me: huh? its autobackfire..

 

uncle: dun always play with it, 'the whole thing'(i dun know what he refering) will come out, i experience b4..

 

me: really! i din control it! this bike always backfire..

 

uncle: really meh?*gives a doubtful look*

 

me: really! dun believe you go ask around, this model X1 always autobike fire de(this time i start to get irritated, feeling of wrongly accused)

 

uncle: ya la... i tell you only, dun always play with it, 'the whole thing'(i dun know what he refering) will come out, i experience b4.. in long run 'whole thing come out'

 

me: really! i'm not purposely doing it to you...
