Really huh...sometimes things must go wrong at the worst times.

But they stay cool though... you should not ride when you are pissed off.

Since we are on the topic of bird sh*t.. I think we should all do to the birds what they are doing to our possessions.

I say we organise an outing forall haters of birds.

Then we go look for their nests in the trees and climb up the trees to their nests and we sh*t on their nests!! Give them back their own treatment!!!

Now open for registration!!!!

i agree with raptor..... although it would protect against the elements.... it is too secluded.... even for those MSCP that are just beside HDB flats... sometime i can also see "suspicious" characters loitering around even at night.... at times i even resort to just standing there for a few minutes and just stare at them till they walk away..... who knows what they are up to right??

damn this is scary man. i try to park on the 1st level at least there r more traffic n likewise all other bikes. then this orange s4 dunno always scared cold or wat must squeeze so close to other bikes. a couple of times i had problem trying to come out of my slot. been noticing it for a long time then my hubby say to write a pc of paper n stick on his bike saying 'oiii ur bike scared cold ah! must always park so close to other ppl's bike'

haha dun think the s4 owner is here cos i think ah chek

At least it would be justifiable for us to scream out loud "OH sh*t!!!" when we fall.

At least we telling the truth. Wahahahhah!!!! :thumb:

Yes Your Highness......... enough doodoo talk.

Today I very bored so I go to Pitstop just now.

Ask my kakis to go but they either too busy surfing the net looking for riding boots, stalking some manageress in some coffee franchise in Bugis or doctoring pictures to post on the net.

Down there oso very boring. Only one red R1 parked there. Stayed there for about 1 hour plus and come home.

Really wonder when is their busy day and what time would it be.

I normally address women as Princesses.

Especially when I do not know their names.. better than saying "excuse me: or "Oi" or "Miss".

Sound so much nicer to hear leh. :thumb:

If you are entering the slip road to KJE whilst coming in from the BKE from the direction of Woodlands.... watch out for a big hump caused by pushed up tar on the inner left lane. It is about 3/4 outboard in the left lane. It would be safer to ride on the right hand outer lane when entering the slip road.

Saw a Superfour hit and lost control and crashed this morning. Nothing is worst than hitting a bump in the middle of a high speed corner.

Take care my fellow bikers.

Maybe we guys should be reporting the hazards that we encountered during our daily commute for sharing with the rest so that our fellow bikers do not get caught off guard.

o_O

Nah.. his bike like went into a tankslapping headshake like a bull terrier with a piece of rag. Wobbled his way out to the outer retaining wall and grazed the wall for a while before he fell, off balanced after losing alot of speed.

Saw him get up instantly though.. guess he was just bruised with road rashes. I think his ego was injured more.

Traffic was moderately heavy so he was not travelling very fast. He might not have escaped so lightly if he was going faster.

I know it is a motherhood statement, but as riders... we must expect the unexpected.

Like I have mentioned earlier... it would be great if you could post in here any close shaves you have with any obstacles, fuel/oil or sand spills you encountered in your daily commute, giving the location so that others may benefit from the knowledge.

If this kind of information can be freely shared by those frequenting the race tracks for the safety of everyone... it should be shared even more so here coz we spend more time commuting to and from work than time spend on the track.

What you guys think??

It is not very easily noticeable till you hit it.

It is just at the part when you start the left curve after leaving the BKE.

The other option is to ride on the right hand side of the left lane, say about 2 feet on the inside of the line that separates the inner and outer lane.... you bound to hit it.

Yep, thats the one that starts with a left and a sweeper right as it leads in to KJE towards Jurong.

And yeah.. many people tend to take that S bend at speeds above 100kmh when the traffic is light.. me being one of them.

There will be another outing, Princess. No worries. Seems like the gang will be going back there next Friday.

But I was impressed with the place though. You gotta see it.

Very tastefully decorated with alot of Spanish influence.

A placed named Marabella, Spanish decor serving Iranian food.

Reserved parking lots for bikes right at the front door in full view of the diners inside.

And yes.. its great when the owner, the cook, the waitresses of the establishment are your good friends.

Today 7 of us ate lamb chops, some shellfish dish, 2 servings of fish... all done in Iranian style.. and a bottle of Tiger and the bill was RM146. Mind you... this is a fully aircon restaurant too. About RM20 per person or should I say less than ten Singapore dollars for the meal. Tell me........ how to go wrong??

The bumps were there quite some times ago......at least 3 months back. Went over one before, and I'm blessed with a steering damper so I was able to recover from the "misjudgement", hee......

But bikers being bikers, I tends to tear down a twisty as long as I've been there once before and accessed that it's good to go. The fact that the road conditions are changing bit by bit everyday seems to be the last thing in my head, until situation arises.

I no longer play that BKE to KJE corner above 100kph. Until the day it's resurfaced.
