Went to PG track this morning with a ZX10, CBR1000RR, GSX1000K5 and an RVF 400. Then another friend showed up in a VFR800.

And we had the track to ourselves.

No stray dogs, monkeys, snakes, iguanas or wild pigs were seen.

4 track session since last Sat till today........seems like you gonna change tyres soon :D Hey, give Metzeller RS2 a try. You would love it, since you go pretty often. Definately not a waste for you.

RS2, he can afford lah......it'll give him better grip, and better confidence......thus at the end of day, safer. No intention for him to get faster though.....I yet to ride with him together, and I dun want him to go too fast for me, ha ha ha

Anyways, RS2 now got good lobang from my fren......so helping both sides lah. Buyer and seller.

Yeah.. I kinda regrettd selling the banana yellow 04 CBR600RR that I had before this bike. I only started going to the track this year and with this bike. Prior to this, I have never ridden on a track before.

Things may be very different now had I started going to the track with the 600 instead.

What bike does Edwin ride? The Edwin I have met at GP before rides a Honda twin.

Arend is my brother in law who rides a K5 now, and he is going to Sepang.

Or are you talking about another person? Arend or Aaron?

I go often but I don't go fast on the track. I seldom redline the bike.. in fact I rarely exceed 7000 rpm. I don't full throttle coming out of corners coz I don't want to wear out the rear tyre and I don't use front brake much coz I will downshift and use engine braking instead.

Right now I am still working on having high corner speeds. Once I am comfortable carrying high corner speeds... working on the whacking the throttle wide open out of the corners and onto the straights followed by the hard braking before the corner would be easier.

I can close up very quickly on some people on the twisty sections.. but they will pull away on the straights coz I dun full bore the bike coming out of corners.

So the wear on my tyres are rather mild... compared to some of the other bikes at the track.

It will be 6 track sessions in 2 weeks. Going to go on Sepang this 11 and 12 June.

I dun think it is passion anymore... I think it is lust!! Wahahhahah!!! :faint:

How much is a pair of RS2? I have become very comfortable with the Diablo Corsas.

haha i know how it feels on the track keke, only tried once and it's really fun but small bikes, in other threads ppl call us wannabes but was just there for the fun and practice my right corner cos am always more comfortable w left.

RS2 is indeed good and Edwin uses it as well. But very precious he prefer Sepang cos it doesn't so much tyre as PG keke. btw, u got lobang, Edwin oso interested

tat's true things might be different. Edwin used to ride the 600 but now the 1K and strongly feels that 600 is still more fun only tat u loose out on the straight. He rides the CBR1K black color one. He used to hv a black VFR which he tried a couple of times on PG but cos he said not fun cos hv to brake v early and anyway it's a tourer not built for track keke. by the way his nick is oso Edwin.

Yep he's refering to Arend (ur bro in law) and we knew him thru the old VFR grp and he's now riding a k5? Wow! i love his old bike hmm was it a k3 can't remember with all the accessories and oz rim and of course his abe helmie.

pitstop hmm not sure. anyway we r watching at home n his friend n my buddy coming over. only a couple of ppl hv seen wat a disgrace i am when rossi wins, cos i get hysterically happy!

i thought i had heard it all till it happened to me. on pie travelling home, first lane behind a taxi. black toyota catches up behind me and tails me so close i can see the silhouette of his face in his headlights reflecting off my rear THROUGH MY SIDE MIRROR. not surprising? it was 2200hrs +. f*cking dickweed on my tail for a few klicks but there was a bloddy cab in front of me, traffic brisk on other lanes. i braked a little to flash him my brakelights but to no avail, turned around and glared at him for a few seconds and he narrowed the gap. my head was going to pop but i calmed down and told myself he could be late so i signalled and changed to the second lane. he pulled close to the cab and kept a safe following distance.. WTF?! he cut into my lane ABRUPTLY further down the road and i was so pissed i wanted to play his game.

then again, i changed my mind and relaxed before stupidity got the better of me...

Certain parts of the road has no markings. When will this road ever finish construction? Now that I have been staying here for about 2 yrs now and it's still going on!

I have witnessed a lorry driving as it it's a bike flipping from left to right to left lane in heavy traffic. Think it could be the same white lorry.

Guys if you do come by upp bt timah rd, careful of the road situation with lots of heavy vehicles and speed limit only 60. A friend kerna 8 pts for speeding before and I got stopped for over speed limit as well previously. It's one of the fave haunt of TP.

Sheesh.....really lost my guts now.

white lorry!

ARGH!

just now this idiotic white lorry tried to run me down!

swerve into my lane abruptly. no signal. nothing!

he was so close to me on my left side.. and so sudden.. i got no time to react.

damn white lorry!

On the way home just now.. saw a Phantom with a Monokey box doing at about 100kmh taking the corner from KJE to BKE. Weaving in and out of the heavy traffic even.

Gave me a fright when he overtook me real close. His rear suspension was working full time and the bike was wobbling in the corner but he still kept the throttle wide open. Full marks for guts!!

Musta have been in one heck of a hurry. Hope he gets to wherever he is rushing to safely.
